Life at VIPS

Overall Rating
Overall the Institute is worth it. With its fee being comparatively less than other private Institutions is a plus point. It provides good academic understanding and overall good career growth. It focuses more on conceptual understanding rather than just parrot learning. Being based in Delhi is a plus point all together. It lives up to ones expectations of a decent college life, with multiple societies and clubs and events. One should opt for this college if they want to expand their knowledge and have a better understanding of law.
 

Academics Rating
In Delhi other than NLU and DU, VIPS is the next best choice for any student opting for law as a career. One has to give the CLAT exam in order to enroll in the college. The admission process is quite simple, one has to register on the IPU website after the result has been announced. Other than that one can also join through CUET. BA LLB has 2 exams conducted in each semester, one is the internals conducted by the college and the other one is externals conducted by the University.
BA LLB total tuition fee for 5 years is around Rs. 6,50,000. In 1st year one has to pay security deposit of Rs. 12,000. The college also provides management quota. The college provides scholarship for financially weaker students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very well qualified, and the curriculum is up to date. Internal exams are held once a semester and are about the same level as external exams. We have assignments for each subject, which varies from analysis to plays. The teachers use different methods of teaching- PPT, discussion, plays, etc. Overall the faculty is approachable and knowledgeable. The faculty mostly includes professors who have either practiced law or have a master's degree in law.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are less at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies Technical Campus. They do not provide many job offers. The average placement is 4 Lakh per annum, and not many students get placed in this college. They do have an active placement cell that helps you to prepare for interviews, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies Technical Campus does not offer any residential facilities. One can find accommodation within 3-7 km radius of the college. Multiple flats and PG's are available but none is provided by the college itself.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies Technical Campus is of moderate size. The college has 3 blocks. All the blocks are fully Air conditioned. It has all the facilities needed like moot courts, labs, media room, etc. The college also provides multiple libraries, girls and boys common rooms, a games room, and an auditorium. The campus does not offer much place for sports activities. We have a basketball court, a volleyball court, an indoor badminton court and a lawn.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the campus life at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies Technical Campus is decent. Most of the crowd is good. We have multiple societies and clubs. One can be a part of western and India dance society, drama society, etc. Other than that the college has fests and events that are held in every few months. These events are either organized by the college or a specific department but it's open to all. There are days were the college seem extremely boring but it's manageable. Overall VIPS provides a good campus life.

    The School of Law is one of the most prevalent departments of VIPS-TC New Delhi, and it has just completed its 25 year anniversary.     VIPS New Delhi offers an amazing institute experience. The campus is well maintained with numerous active societies. Academically, the faculty is outstanding with many professors having degrees from top tier NLUs and DU. Good infrastructure and curriculum is there. Placement cell varies by the course, but the institute actively supports to help you find decent placements and provide good opportunities across many courses.     I got admission in VIPS last year that means 2024. This was the best decision I could make Definitely worth joining it, I appreciate the environment, the faculty, and my seniors. The infrastructure is mind blowing even though the campus is small but it is absolutely fantabulous.     Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies Technical Campus is located at Pitampura, Delhi. It is amazing to be a part of this one as a student.
