Academics at VIPS New Delhi: Better Teaching Staff and Methods

I got admission in VIPS last year that means 2024. This was the best decision I could make Definitely worth joining it, I appreciate the environment, the faculty, and my seniors. The infrastructure is mind blowing even though the campus is small but it is absolutely fantabulous. I have visited other institutes too but Many of them do not provide the same facilities as my institute provide like the advanced libraries not only in law but in B.Tech too. Besides that my institute is serious about our academics but also focus on other areas like sports, competition, skills development etc.

I have chosen BA.LLB, and enrolling in VIPs for law is definitely worth it. I gave CLAT UG exam for the admission and filled the admission form of IPU after the 3 counseling I was finally allotted VIPS. Eligibility criteria depends on the CLAT rank if you are a Delhi resident then you can get a fair advantage as 85% seats are reserved for them and rest for outsiders so it's a little difficult to get admission here.

The fees per year is somewhere about 1.5 Lakh where we have submitted Rs. 96,000. This 1.5 lakh is of annual we have to pay the amount of both the semesters together. This is the tuition fees and the registration fees for IPU counseling was Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 1,000 but with this year, we have to submit Rs. 2,500 for registration and counseling both.

The faculty of our Institute is very impressive they are supportive. Our Dean and chair sir always so responsible for the work. The assistant professors who are teaching us in the first year are very nice. Many of the professors are it, many of them were professors in DU, They have impressive educational qualification like PhD, gold medalist, etc. Their teaching method is very impressive and interactive they make sure that each student is involving in the discussion, not only with Whiteboard, they also conducts group discussions, debates, and take every student's opinion regarding the topic. They solve each problem we ask from them in a patient manner. They make sure that we understand what they have been teaching us. The teacher student ratio is difficult to say but we have no problem regarding it as we get out professor in our class on time. My experience is as far the best I am interactive with them, without any biasness they take each and every student's things seriously. They are very approachable.

No VIPS does not provide hostels, but we have PGs nearby for both boys and girls.

VIPS infrastructure is top notch. We have advanced high-class facilities impressive classrooms, Centralized AC, moot court rooms, auditoriums, libraries for every department, We have canteen, parking lot. We have decent medical room, NCC office, Reception halls; pretty impressive classrooms with the seating capacity of More than 80 students the seats are quite comfortable the white boards are quite nice. We do not have Transport facilities students travel with metros, which is quite affordable. We have impressive security system as our IDs are been checked each time we enter our institute and it is necessary. My favorite thing about my institute is our Canteen and cats roaming around the lawn area of the campus they are harmless and very playful. Canteen might be overpriced but definitely worth going there sometimes with peers. Library system is very impressive we have computers, Wi-Fi access, and a large amount of books. The timings are until 6 PM so it is definitely worth studying there during exam time.

My campus life is overall the best. I am enjoying a lot with my friends and seniors, teachers here are pretty chill. The crowd here is nice and approachable but obviously, we need to find our own people in the crowd. We have various committees that host fests for the students. Extracurricular competitions, court visits, Lok Adulates, Debate competition, moot court competition, essay writing, speeches etc. is very constant, We have various committees in VIPS and each committee is very active in providing different opportunities to the students. IPU itself organize sports meet on their regular basis. My overall experience is very good I love it and I will definitely recommend enrolling in this institute.
