Admission Process at All Saints' College Thiruvananthapuram

I am currently pursuing my final year degree in all saints' college, Trivandrum. 3 years of my college life have filled with learning growth and unforgettable memory. I chose BA Communicative English that really helped me in having a good communication skills, critical thinking, etc. Apart from education, the college also encourage in extracurricular activities, which helps the student in shaping both personal and academic life. The college is affiliated with university of Kerala and securing a++ grade by NAAC.

To secure admission process, students must go through the allotment process, which is based on their 12th grade marks. Students with good grades can secure their admission or else they have to opt for management seat which will little expensive than the merit seat. I was fortunate to take merit seat in the course of my course. We have 6 semesters all together but now the degree is for 4 years. We have a major exam for each semester but before that the college will conduct the internal exam before one month where we can assess our pros and cons. The internal exam is also important as it is counted during major exams.

Fee structure is around Rs. 2,000 for each year. Exam fee is Rs. 560 for each semester. Scholarships and financial aids are available but for specific category of students if they have the valid proof in order to show (E- Grantz for reservation students).

Special thanks should be given to our wonderful teacher for encouraging each students and helping them for transformation. We should thank them for making us understanding every topic. Mainly there is a classroom teaching method in the college, where they are using blackboard and ppt. Their way of teaching is understandable. Teachers also share notes and reference in google classroom or in other apps. It will be helpful for the future use. All our teachers in our department are super friendly and we feel free to talk.

Placements for the final year students are conducted every year. Every student from various departments can participate. Top companies from Technopark, Allianz, Guide House, and many more are frequent companies who used to hire the students. Mainly their job is voice processing in order to be placed them should have a good communication skills in English. Salary package range is between 3 LPA to 3.6 LPA.

The facilities at All Saints' College are amazing. We have a big library that has various kinds of book ranging from novels to books for competitive exams. If we have any doubts regarding in our academics, we can refer to its source book from the library. The canteen provides various snacks items and food, which is really affordable and tasty. I never had a bad experience with the canteen food everything is scooper clean. Outside food is not permitted inside the canteen (homely food). We have a big sports ground, basketball court, etc. College also supports various other sports such as kho -kho, roll ball, and encourage students to do yoga, gymnastics, etc.

Overall my college experience is wonderful. Our college is not crowded and it has a peace atmosphere. Fest and events conducted in the college are super cool and engaging where we can display our talent. There are various clubs in our college. Students can participate in NSS and NCC if they are interested to join the college also gives importance to extracurricular activities where the student's can balance their professional and personal life. Overall my college experience is really nice and helped me to transform into whom I’m today.
