VIT University Chennai is a Top Choice After IITs and NITs

My experience so far in VIT University has nothing short of exciting, to be very honest. At the times I am left in awe of this university while sometimes I think otherwise. Whatever is the case, this university is pretty good coming after IITs and NITs. I would recommend people to join this university and experience the life of this university themselves.

I have chosen the course EEE. The thing about all those Computer Science branch is that it’s purely co-operate section and that's one reason I took this course as this course offers me both jobs in the cooperate section as well as jobs in government sector. Eligibility criterion is to have at least 60% aggregate in 10+2 with PCM. The admission process for this university is pretty simple and is done online. The frequency in exams over here is what you will find different here from other universities, as compared to other universities that just have mid sem and end sem over here (we have 2 exams and then our end sem). The academics are all just notebook notes and all, doesn't really focus on practical knowledge

Fee structure for the core courses is 1.7 LPA for one year. It keeps on increasing to 1 lakh for every category until category 5.

The faculties in this university are pretty educated and friendly. Faculties know what they are studying and some faculty even makes the class interactive. You may find some kind of language barrier if you are from North India but other than that there won't be any problem. Faculties are easily accessible and you go and ask your doubts.

Infrastructure of VIT University is top notch. The infrastructure of the university is very well maintained, and there are many buildings that are very well made. The university is around 190 aces and has 3 academic blocks as of now and fourth one is under construction. The theory classes do not have ACs but all the labs have ACs installed. The class can occupy at least 70 students. There are many canteens in our university with all and every options for food. My favorite place is Avens, which is a mother dairy type.

My overall campus life is pretty good. However it’s pretty restricted since you will have guards at almost evert corner of the university. Other than that the campus life is pretty cool, you will have different events and open mic competitions in the campus where you can display your talent if you have any. There are many events as I said above, the open mics and all.
