JU Jaipur From the Eyes of Physiotherapy Learner

Overall Rating
My overall experience was very nice as JU Jaipur itself provides a very vast pool of opportunities to explore from and offers various courses among which I chose BPT as my career path. This university is very affordable.
 

Academics Rating
I chose BPT because I was very interested in medical field and during my 2 years of NEET preparation, I was given BDS but I wasn't interested in that course that much. Therefore, I opted for BPT as it has a lot of scope. Eligibility criterion for this university is one should have passed 10th and 12th with minimum 50% marks with Science (PCB or PCMB) stream. Admission processes is very smooth and easy either you'll have to give entrance exam or PI. Frequency of exam is 2 times a year. This university prepares us very well for real-life challenges and quick hands-on application.
Tuition fee is Rs. 90,000 (after 20% scholarship based on 12th merit). Registration fee is Rs. 650 Caution money is Rs. 4,000 (refundable after completion of the course). Registration and caution money is included in tuition fee itself nothing extra has to be paid. Scholarship is available based on 12th merit. Study now, pay later and EMI options are also available.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculty is top notch. Their teaching method is commendable and they are kind and easy to approach. Our faculty's background is that they hold Master’s and PhD degrees in Physiotherapy. Their teaching method involves group discussions, interactive sessions, Q&A classes, PPTs, blackboard, revision classes, query solving classes, etc. Teacher-student ratio is 7:50. My experience and bonding with the faculty members is homely. They are very helpful and friends like teachers.
 

Placement Rating
Internship opportunities are offered by our university in physiotherapy department. No or minimal stipend is offered during interns.
 

Hostel Rating
JU Jaipur does offer hostel facilities. The rooms are available for students in different occupancies i.e. single, double, triple, and quadruple (in both AC & non-AC options). Each hostel has 3 floors. Chair, table, bed, cupboard, lights, fan, AC (for AC rooms), coolers (for non- AC rooms), water cooler on every floor, washroom on every floor with geysers, 24/7 electricity, water, Wi-Fi, and cleaning staff. Hostel fee for 3-seater AC room is Rs. 1,05,000 where Rs. 5,000 is hostel caution deposit. Hostel rules and timings are explained by the warden at the time of admission.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus can work more on its infrastructure and academic block size as student's batch size is increasing year after year. Locality is good and necessities are available. Academic facilities like library, labs, seminar hall, and auditorium are available with operational OPD as well. Canteen, sports, medical, transport, security and other facilities are also available. My favorite place in the campus apart from my department is the café as it lightens the mood of students after taking long classes.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good. University organizes various events, fests, intercollegiate competitions, etc. which provides many social opportunities to explore and stand out. ‘Spandan’ an annual sports and cultural event is hosted by our university every year. ‘JU Frolic’ is also a fest organized by the student welfare club every year. Hospital visits, workshops, and conferences are also held by our department. The university crowd is also very outstanding and interesting. There is a student welfare club. My experience is going awesome.

    We talk about overall experience at this University is average mean 3 out 5. Other goes there because this University is outside the city and is located at a very peaceful place.
