Inside NGMC Coimbatore: Facilities & Placements for BCA

Overall Rating
My overall experience is ok in NGMC Coimbatore. My parents chose this college and course. I joined this college, I can't find any difference in this college. This college is different from compared to colleges in Kerala. The college rules are very less.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility for joining this college is having more than 60% marks in higher secondary. The student must be a disciplined. The student needs to follow college rules. The admission process is just filling the application form and paying the first semester fee. The frequency of exam is 3 exams per semester in my course and every course.
In first semester, tuition fee is Rs. 24,000 and exam fee is Rs. 1,020 (same structure is followed in 2nd semester). In third semester, tuition fee is Rs. 24,500 and exam fee is Rs. 1,240. In fourth semester, tuition fee is Rs. 25,240 and exam fee is Rs. 1,380. In fifth semester, I will pay more than Rs. 25,500 for tuition fee and Rs. 1,400 for exam fee. In sixth semester, the structure will be Rs. 25,000 for tuition fee and Rs. 1,500 for exam fee. If the student has more than 90% marks in higher secondary, he/she has a chance to join in aided courses and the course fee is very low, approximately below Rs. 15,000 per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty teaching method is good, I don't know Tamil, and so the faculties are teaching me in English. The faculty members are around 10 to 15 in my course. They are good in PPT and problem solving. The teacher to student ratio is good. My experience with my teachers is good. They are easy to approach.
 

Placement Rating
The placement is good in this college. It gives basic tips to students for attending interview. They guide students for placement. The companies visiting the college are Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Microsoft, and Amazon. The average package is 2.5 LPA and maximum package is 10 LPA. I will attend placement drive in next year because I am a second year student. Only third year students are eligible to attend the campus drive.
 

Hostel Rating
NGMC Coimbatore has a hostel facility for both male and female students with separate hostel buildings for each. The hostel facility is good. The hostel food can be improved. The student must come back in the hostel before 7 PM. the hostel fee is Rs. 50,000.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of NGMC Coimbatore is good. The academic blocks are good. The campus size is 25 acres the classroom facility is good. The classrooms have a Wi-Fi and projectors. The lab and library facilities are good in this college. Most of the books are available in library. There are more than 5 hours for lab sessions per week. My favorite place in this college is MCRD block stairs. Me and my friends chill there. Sport facilities for students are also there.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good. The college crowd is normal. There are so many clubs here in this college. I haven’t joined any club. The engagement and extracurricular activities are very few in this college. My experience is good in this college campus.
