Life at IILM University Gurgaon: Paramount Academics & Activities

Overall Rating
Regarding the overall experience and academic life at IILM University Gurgaon, I would like to mention it's very nice. The environment is pretty much happening and surrounded with nature. The academics are very good as compared to other colleges. The faculties actually focus on each student and even the co-curricular activities are interesting and fun. Every student gets the opportunity to participate in such events.
 

Academics Rating
When I took admission I just didn't expected that's much from this college but it actually came out to be much better than others were. They actually teach in class and you can actually gain knowledge sitting in the classroom rather than just gaining attendance. Regular tests are taken up after completion of each chapter, which actually helps during mid semester, and end semester. Notes are provided in class.
My course is B.Tech Biotechnology, and total fees was I guess 7 Lakh something after which I got scholarship for girl students which reduced it to 6 Lakh or something. Scholarships are provided according to your percentage in 12th or girl scholarship. If you score good CGPA, you get another scholarship accordingly too.
 

Faculty Rating
I think the faculties are very nice, sweet and understanding obviously. there are few exceptions but majority really helps the students on academic as well as personal grounds. Specifically talking about my first semester, I got the best faculties who are really good and even helps me out now when I am in my 4th sem. They are graduates from good colleges themselves and most of them have done their PhDs from IITs and NITs.
 

Placement Rating
Regarding placements, I would say it equally depends on college as well as students. Like for example Goldman Sacs also came to our campus but students couldn't qualify for it. So our college does provide us with good industry exposure and placement opportunities. As students, it's our responsibility to work hard for it.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have hostel facilities either single seater or triple seater. you can choose accordingly. I won't say the food is amazing but yes it is good and hygienic. It’s not that you couldn't eat that food it's completely likeable. Even on special occasions, they make tasty food. And hostel charges are separate which includes accommodation, food, and laundry along with other facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IILM University Gurgaon is pretty big and spacious. We have 2 libraries in our campus. Currently reconstruction is going on in the college, which ultimately make the campus more attractive. The lecture complexes are huge and spacious with centralized AC and a large common hall. The campus is divided into 3 lecture complexes separately for B.Tech, Management, and Law. We also have a separate block for CS labs and Biotechnology labs.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at IILM University Gurgaon is nice and happening. The crowd and the people are pretty good. We have 2 annual fests: one is cultural and other is technical. Apart from that, regular hackathons and fun events do take place, which attracts lot of attention from the students, plus add up to our college life. During festivals students community organize separate Puja and events for the juniors, which everyone enjoys a lot.

    The university’s infrastructure is very good. The faculty is very supportive. The crowd is very much interactive and helpful. The university also has different game courts. There are different clubs also according to student’s interest, helping them to participate in different events conducted. The university also contains cafe, library, moot court, computer labs, etc. There also a lab which consists of IMacs only. So overall the university provides all the facilities required....     IILM University is near to the place where I live and I find it best among all other universities near my house. Faculty is good and has friendly nature.     Overall, this university is good. There is no specific parking space allotted in the university which becomes an issue sometimes. The crowd is good. Faculty staff is average, but their teaching style is old fashioned.... Read Full Review

    I went to IILM University because I opted this university as my last option but it was more than my expectations. Fees are comparatively very low as per its facilities and campus. The difference between the institutes which was in my option with IILM University is that it has a genuine placement options as it does not shows fake placement.
