B.Sc in Data Science and Analytics at Jain University

Jain University is a really overall good university. If you see from wide angle, the faculties are really supportive. They would clear your doubts as soon as you ask them. They will also help you out in every way possible. The next very good thing is the fest wherein there are many small fests with one overall big fest that is called Nexus. Even though it is not that big like other universities, it is really good for what we ask for and you will enjoy your college life. I chose this institute because I wanted to change my environment home so yeah I chose this one as it was in Bangalore.

I choose Bachelor of Science in Data Science and Analytics wherein you are given an option to do Honors, which is for four years. The motive behind choosing this course is to get the real good job opportunities and my interest of working with computer. The admission process of university is simple. You will be given an entrance exam, which would be easy to clear as far as concerned. Then you will have a personal interview session with the professor and they will give the date of further procedure. You will have 3 to 4 continuous assessment exams, which are basically practical exams. For mid semester exams, you will have one in each semester and for a semester, there will be one end exam for each semester. The academics are really upto date with current standards.

For the first year, you will be paying Rs. 20,000 as registration fees and Rs. 1,65,000 as tuition fee. For all the following years, there is only tuition fee, which does not change at all for the semester or year wise. For exam fee, it is Rs. 2,000 per semester. As far as financial aid is concerned, the university will provide you with a monthly payment scheme through a third party lender, which would make the fee payment easier.

There are appropriate amount of faculties present to teach each subject. For Math, there are number of professors available. They are all from the domain, which they teach us. This makes us students easily understand the concepts easily & learn more about the subject. The teacher student ratio is also in proper & adequate amount I would say. As for bonding, you could easily bond with every other facility as they are friendly and understanding. They will clear every single query of yours. So yeah, the faculties are really good.

The academic blocks I would say are ok. It looks like an old office from outside to be fair but the important thing is you will be comfortable there they are properly ventilated with good air conditioning during summer days. The seating capacity can vary from one class to the other. Overall, Jain University is a very good university but compact in size. It has a common library, a conference hall, 1 auditorium, and labs. Each department has its own lab. There is a canteen near auditorium wherein you will get vegetarian food and snack options.

Overall, the university campus life is really good. I would recommend this university to any student who is looking for a change in their life and just want to enjoy a peaceful enjoyable life. The university crowd is ok. It is also at its peak during the events like Onam celebration and fests. Yes, I am in infrastructure club of the student council. In this club, the team members and the team leader is also really good. There are few fests, which I will name like Nexus, INAC, Crestas, and few others. The university also celebrates all the festivals keenly with all the cultural activities. My experience with university campus life has been good so far.
