Affordable Fee Structure at JNTUA College of Engineering Anantapur

I am very happy to be a student at JNTUA College of Engineering. Whole environment is very good and peaceful. Most of the people suggested me to join in this college because this college has great history. The college has a peaceful library with various books. Every department has separate building. Equipment in the labs is in good condition and faculty also helps us a lot.

I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering. Eligibility criteria are based on Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test of Andhra Pradesh rank. To join in Computer Science and Engineering, the rank should be below 10000. Entry requirements are inter marks memo, Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test rank card, Aadhar card, 10th class marks memo, and other certificates. Per semester we have two mid exams, 1 sem exam and practical exams. For me the academics prepared me to communicate with others and makes problem solving easy in real life.

Fee of Computer Science and Engineering course at JNTUA College of Engineering is Rs. 10,000 per year, Rs. 2,850 special fee, and Rs. 710 is exam fee. The mess fee is around Rs. 3,000 per month, admission fee is Rs. 8,300 including registration and other charges. Rs. 600 is hostel rent per year. There are no special discounts in fees provided to specific category. Scholarships are given by the government that is of Rs. 10,000.

Faculty at JNTUA College of Engineering is student friendly. Faculty in my college has completed M.Tech and Ph.D with great experience. They use blackboards, ppts, and group discussions based on topic. The problem solving abilities of the faculty are just amazing. The ratio of teacher student is 3:28 in my college. There is a good bond between students and faculty members. They are very friendly and help us in any situation.

A placement cell is present in JNTUA College of Engineering. This placement cell has separate staff members. Placement cell is very helpful for the students to get the job. Placement related activities are coding, aptitude, reasoning and programs like guest lecture on various topics which are helpful to get job. Renowned companies that visit JNTUA College of Engineering for recruitment are TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. The Highest package is 10 LPA and average is 6 LPA.

Yes, JNTUA College of Engineering offers residential facilities. There are 5 hostels in this college. 2 for girls and 3 for boys. 1st years girls should be in separate hostel and remaining year students should be in another hostel. Each room is for 4 students. In hostel we have reading room, sports room, Gym, mess hall and there is an empty space to play in the hostel. Boys and girls hostels are separate. Mess food is good, chicken and egg is also served twice a week and banana twice a week. Hostel timings are; gates open from morning 6 AM to night 7PM. after 7 PM no one is allowed to enter in the hostel. The hostel environment is very good and peaceful with good facilities.

Campus academic blocks and structure are very good and amazing. The campus size is about 250 acres and it is located in Anantapur, JNTU road. The classrooms are clean and have seating capacity of 80 students per class. Academic facilities like library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, and conference hall are there in our college. The college campus has a ground, dispensary, canteen, security facilities, etc. my favorite place is the main building of the campus. Our college is accredited A by NAAC.

My overall campus life at JNTUA College of Engineering is going good. There are so many students in the college. Yes, there are student coordinated clubs like coding club, singing club, entrepreneur club, Higher studies club, sports club, dance club, photography club, cultural activities club, etc. Different extracurricular activities that are organised by the college are sports day, college day, fresher’s day, etc. Each department will celebrate their fest and for overall college we celebrate sports day and college day.
