My Life at JNTUA, Anantapur

Overall Rating
I was very much delighted by culture, social exposure, and practical learning approach of my college. It has an affordable fee structure and mess bill. I recommend students in AP with a good EAPCET rank to go for JNTUA.
 

Academics Rating
The entry into JNTUA can be made by clearing the AP EAPCET with the required rank for your desirable department followed by attending the EAPCET counseling. I aspired to become an automobile engineer that's why I've chose Mechanical Engineering.
 

Faculty Rating
Each department consists of 5-7 professors and 10-15 associate professors & technicians who are well qualified. They also have experience in teaching, mentoring and research field. The teaching style will be simple giving an overview. They also promote self learning among the students by avoiding spoon feeding.
 

Placement Rating
Yes. We do have a placement cell in our college. The college provides good number of on campus placements. But I feel that it's better if they can train the students in future with the some skill sets so that most of the students will get placed within the college placements itself.
 

Hostel Rating
The Institute has hostel facilities separately for boys and girls. Girls live in single hostel known as ‘Shilpa’. However, there are 3 hostels for boys, one for 1st year boys, other for 2nd and 3rd year boys and last one for final year students. This arrangement has been done to avoid the instances of ragging.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic infrastructure of the college needs much improvement. All the classes are delivered in a separate lecture hall complex. All the labs are well equipped with all the necessities. There is a main building which consists of all the academic needs. It also has a huge library which consists of all the books, journals and magazines.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life at JNTUA is a roller coaster of emotions, enjoyments, true friendship bonding, events, assignments, practicals, examinations, parties and all the experiences. The college encourages the students to move forward in their area of passion by conducting many events like foundation day, cultural night, sports day, college day and all. There are many clubs in the college that are maintained by students such as the innovation club, photography club, music club, fun club etc.

The quality of education provided by this Institution for this particular degree is good. The difference between other Colleges and this one is the Government professors here are qualified and they are assigned as faculty only if they pass a particular examination.     Overall my journey at JNTUA was fulfilling, enjoyable along with lot of exams and assignments (common struggle of students). I have made some good friends and found true purpose of my career.     My experience in JNTUA College of Engineering was wonderful. It is a great college to learn about the outer society, how to interact with people, how to respect elders, how to treat the opposite gender along with education, sports and fun filled activities.
