Practical Exposure at IIS University, Jaipur

Overall Rating
I graduated from IIS (Deemed to be) University, Jaipur in 2023. It is a prestigious university which provides numerous courses which are helpful for the student's future. This is a girl’s college which makes it suitable for the parents who are looking for a university with great courses and academic excellence with only female crowd. It provides different courses in different fields like Commerce, Science, Arts, and many more.
 

Academics Rating
I choose B.Com (Hons.) in Financial Studies for my graduation. An individual with great interest in finance or share market can choose this major. Eligibility requires at least 60% in class 12th. Admission process is very easy as faculty makes aware both the students and the parents about different courses. Exams are conducted semester wise with practical knowledge about the subject. This helps students understand the topic practically.
Fee for my course was Rs. 1,80,000 for 3 years. This is paid semester wise with Rs. 4,000 as registration fee and Rs. 2,000 as security fee. Unmiversity provides special scholarships for the students with single parent or no parents. Hostel fee structure is also very minimal with security.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very knowledgeable, holding PhD degrees in their skilled courses, and has both practical and theoretical knowledge of their mastered field. Faculty teaches using both black board and smart board. They help them with the problems by showing real life statistics of company. The student-teacher ratio is also very good with 1500 faculty across the campus for 20000 students. Teachers are very helpful for students.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell of the university is also very good as companies like ICICI bank, Amazon, TATA, etc. coming to hire students with different courses and skills. The placement cell helps students to register and give interviews in those companies. The average package offered by the companies coming to recruit students of B.Com is 4 LPA. The highest package in my batch of 2023 was 6 LPA in TATA Consultancy. My experience was great with the placement cell faculty and their support was incredible.
 

Hostel Rating
IIS University, Jaipur do provide hostel facilities to the students who want to reside. Rooms are very clean with all the facilities provided like AC, beds, study tables, and cupboards. Only 4 girls are allowed in one room. Food is prepared by the chefs with outmost cleanness and hygiene. After 6PM no students are allowed outside the campus and are allowed for only 1 day in a week to go outside.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the university is good with a vast ground where it hosts functions and seminars. It has a big library where all course books are available. They have different labs and conference halls to conduct sessions. Bus service is provided to students for commuting to university and back home. Medical rooms, canteen, and indoor sports room are available to the students. My favorite place was the auditorium where we gain practical knowledge about our topics and imply them in the real world.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at IIS is incredible. It hosts concerts, fashion shows, festive celebration, and other events. It is lively. Provides exposure to different clubs so that the students can explore their skills and interest. It was compulsory for the 1st year students to enroll themselves in one extracurricular activity and if they wish they can continue the chosen activity in the following year. Overall the students are exposed to all the practical skills and knowledge they require to build the future.

    The IIS University, Jaipur, for me, holds a compatible rank. The institution takes up everything from academics to co-curricular. When I first visited the campus of IISU, I was thrilled like a baby to start my academic journey here. My motive was to achieve a major in Mass Communication alongside a minor in Jewellery Design.     My experience at IISU Jaipur was kind of bittersweet. It is an all girls' University. The faculty and facilities are really well.
