Life in SCOE Pune: Academics, Activities, & Many More

Overall Rating
The overall experience of SCOE Pune was good. It was very beautiful journey throughout 4 years. I got admission through CET CAP round (for general category). This institute has good campus and faculty also good placements. I would suggest you to choose this college, if you get admission through CET CAP.
 

Academics Rating
I chose this course because I had interest in this course. You are required to submit is CAP letter certificate, cast certificate (if you are from reserved category) and income certificate. You have to fill up the college admission form, which requires your basic details, and pay college admission fee. Well exams are conducted by Pune University. In every semester, there is and an end-sem exam for 30 marks within 2 months from starts of semester and end sem examination of 70 marks at the end of semester. Well the academic knowledge imparted here improves your skills, which is required in industry level.
Tuition fee is Rs. 60,000, exam fee is Rs. 2,000 Admission fee is Rs. 1,000, student security deposit is Rs. 3,500, and development fee is Rs. 8,500. Hence, the total fee is Rs. 75,000. The scholarship provided by government is EBC scholarship and hostel allowance.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of SCOE Pune have practical teaching approach. Most of the faculty members have completed or pursuing PhD in their subjects. Assistant professor have completed B.Sc. the faculty uses projectors and PPTs for teaching a subject. In college, the faculty has good problem solving skills so they can solve any problem in college. The teacher to student ratio is 1:45. My experience with faculty is very good. They helped me throughout my academics.
 

Placement Rating
The placement in college is very good the average package
Was around 3.5 Lpa and highest package was 18 Lpa
The placement in college is very good. The average package was around 3.5 LPA and highest package was 18 LPA. There is placement cell is available at our institute. There is also placement coordinator and volunteer, which help through overall placement process. There are also placement relevant activities organized like pre placement talk, seminars, etc. There are various renowned companies like Vodafone, Jio, TCS, and Wipro come for recruiting freshers. Well my placement experience was good.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, college offers hostel to the students. There are about 120 rooms in every building. In each room, 4 students can share. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The food quality is not up to the mark. Rs. 65,000 is an annual hostel fee. The hostel-timing gate closes at 11 PM. my personal experience of hostel was very good and enjoyable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is separate block in each department. The overall campus infrastructure is good. The campus size is very big. It is located at Vadgaon Budruk, Pune. The seating capacity of classroom is around 100 students. There is a central library available for students, which is very large. there is also cultural centre hall, college canteen, seminar hall, etc. Well my favorite thing in the college is college parking which is very huge. There is also bus transport facility available for day scholars.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life was good and enjoyable. The college crowd was very huge during cultural festivals and activities. There are clubs like NSS, NCC, and drama club. There is major event organised by college called ‘Sinhgad Karandak’, which is very popular in Pune University. In this, various competitions and events are organized by college. There are cultural celebrations on Holi, dandiya nights, and various others. College overall my experience of campus life was very good and enjoyable.

    Campus is good and fresh as compared to other colleges with a lot of trees and beautiful views. The sprawling campus of SCOE is well maintained and equipped with modern facilities. The library, labs, and recreational areas contribute to a conducive learning environment. It offers a well-rounded educational experience, combining strong academics with ample opportunities for personal growth.     I'm currently pursuing my undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering from one of the Pune's renowned engineering colleges Sinhgad College of Engineering, Vadgaon Pune. As I was looking out to opt for the best possible University to pursue my further studies, I got the name of this college particularly as I have been in this institute for a long while.     As it is known that it's is the oldest college of Sinhgad institution and one of the best. I took their admissions for Computer Engineering and now I am in 2nd year, what I have felt is that this college is of COEP level because it has all the requirements that engineering students need.
