My Opinion on SIST Chennai

Overall Rating
As a student in SIST Chennai, I can surely say that you will reach your goal if you use the opportunities provided by the university. The university is of with highly qualified lectures with practical knowledge and real time experience.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled with the course named Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning which is specialized branch in Computer Science & Engineering because of the trending. You can join the college through direct admission. the frequency of exams will be twice in a month.
The fee structure depends on the course selected by you. my course fee is Rs. 4,25,000 per annum. all the courses like CSE, EE, and ECE will be around 3 LPA. the fee structure will be updated every year.
 

Faculty Rating
Coming to the faculty, they are highly experienced in different courses. The explanation consists in both PPT and blackboard. The practical work will be done twice in a week. The faculty are very friendly with the students.
 

Placement Rating
Every year 90% of students will get placed in different companies. It is well known for its placement service. Most of MNCs like IBM, Amazon, Flipkart Myntra, etc. Will hire the students every year. The maximum packages 55 LPA where the minimum package will start from 4 LPA most of the students will get around 6 to 7 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
SIST Chennai provides both AC and non-AC hostels for students, where the non-AC hostel will cost around 1.05 LPA and AC hostel will cost around 2 LPA. The food provided in the hostel is very tasty. Both vegetarian and non- vegetarian cuisines are available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are so many blocks in our university with the names of Architecture Block, ECE Block, CSE Block, Specialized Block, Nursing Block, etc. Every branch is separated by different buildings. The class rooms will be cleaned daily Library will be available until 7 PM. For transportation, there will be 150+ buses available in the college (free of cost), there will not be any specification for using bus facility (every one can use), and the buses will roam throughout the Chennai.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is always filled with big crowd. There will be fest once in a year in which celebrities, singers, and actors will be invited as guests. There will be so many clubs in this college that are maintained by students and also some clubs will be maintained by faculties for real time experiences in skills that you own.

The well experienced faculty in the institute with more than 10 + years makes you to learn in a practical way. Each and every student will be given a computer in class room for specialized branch.     I took Electronics and Communication Engineering and I must say the college is pretty nice. They will try to teach you unlike other colleges just conducting events and not at all teaching anything. There will be both studying and extracurricular activities if you are interested.
