JEMTC Greater Noida: Faculty, Placements, and Hostel

Overall Rating
I got to know about this institute through one of my friend. Overall, institute is good. I chose JEMTC Greater Noida because according to my rank, an institute in Greater Noida affiliated with GGSIPU would have been a great choice for me. There are multiple activities to do in the campus. We have a common room for boys and girls in which we have table tennis, chess, carom, ludo, etc. There are basketball ball, badminton, and volleyball courts too. Institute is good and has highly interactive students.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in B.Tech CSE course. You can join this institute through counseling held by GGSIPU. After seat allotment, admission process is simple. You just have to go to institute for document submission. We have 2 midterm exams and 1 end term exam. Institute academics is good, it prepares us for real life as well.
Total fee for my course is Rs. 1,50,000 per year, this fee is distributed in many parts like university fee, security fee, exam fee, and tuition fee. Tuition fee is Rs. 96,000. Transportation fee is Rs. 40,000 per year.
 

Faculty Rating
We have well qualified faculties at our institute. Most of the faculty members have taught in other institutes as well so, are highly experienced. They teach using different methods like some use blackboard and some use PPTs. You receive all notes virtually and a group discussion is also done in classrooms. Teachers solve student’s problems easily; be it academics related or personal in a very polite manner. The teacher student ratio is about 1:28. We have great bonding with our teachers, as they are the one who help us in need.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in the institute. They reach out to companies for interviews and placement drives. I do not have much knowledge about placements, as I am a first year student but the average package is of about 3LPA to 4 LPA. Placement cell recently conducted a interview practice program in which our institute invited a very experienced HR.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the institute provides the residential facilities but I don’t have much insight as, I do not reside in the hostel. The hostel fee is different for different rooms. For an AC room it is around Rs. 1,20,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 and for normal room it is around Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 1,20,000.
 

Infrastructure Rating
JEMTC Greater Noida campus is not that big. It’s about 5.5 acres. Campus has a good infrastructure and good classrooms. There are 5 buildings for different departments such as B.Tech, BBA, BA LL.B, B.Com, BCA, etc. Our institute has a good library and canteen. We also have a Nescafe center, an open air amphitheater, an auditorium, etc. There are sports facilities for basketball, volleyball, badminton, cricket, etc. My favorite place in institute is basketball court as I too play it.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good. We have regular events, interactive students, and good faculty. We even have our own institute fest named ‘Zest’. Institute crowd is good. There are many clubs, every department have their own. Our institute organizes many events, such as coding events, talent shows, festivals, and sports events in which all students can participate. Institute has sports team for basketball, football, volleyball, cricket, badminton, and table tennis. I am having a great experience here.

    I joined JEMTEC Greater Noida in August 2024. Initially, I was very skeptical about it due to its location (I live in Delhi and it takes a lot of time to reach there by any means). Later when I joined the institute, I found that majority of the students are daily commuters.     Overall my college experience is going good due to various reasons. Like the location of college is very close to my home. The nature of college faculty is also very good and caring one. In every building floor around 1-2 Wi-Fi routers are installed which makes it easier for students to use it when we need it.
