Allround Development at KNC New Delhi

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Kamala Nehru College, New Delhi has been enriching till now. I chose this college for its strong academic reputation, vibrant societies, and supportive environment. The Political Science department here stands out for its engaging faculty, thought provoking discussions, and focus on the real world issues. It’s inclusive and empowering atmosphere truly sets it apart from other colleges, especially for young women in the Social Sciences. In the end, it is more than just a college. It is a space where you can learn, grow, and discover yourselves.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Political Science Honors because of my strong interest in Politics, Governance, and International Relations. The course promotes critical thinking and awareness about current geopolitical issues. Admission to the college was through CUET, based on merit and subject specific scores, with the process handled online via NTA and Delhi University portal. Exams are conducted twice a year, along with internal assessments. The Political Science department is known for its engaging faculty and insightful discussions especially on global politics which help prepare students for real life academic challenges.
The yearly fee for Political Science Honors course is really affordable. Also, scholarships are provided to low income group students to support their tuition fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of my department is highly qualified with many holding advanced degrees like M.A, M.Phil, and PhD. They use different methods of teaching including PPTs and group discussions. They are approachable, friendly, and do offer extra sessions whenever needed. My personal experience with the faculty has been great. They are really helpful and encouraging. They guide us with all our academics related issues. They maintain a supportive relationship with their students and organize many educational visits to provide practical insights.
 

Placement Rating
KNC New Delhi has a placement cell that helps students find jobs by organizing workshops, mock interviews, and resume building sessions. The highest package offered here is around 8 LPA to 10 LPA and the average is about 3 LPA to 5LPA. The cell also provides internship opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel facility available at the campus
 

Infrastructure Rating
KNC New Delhi has a compact but beautiful campus located in South Delhi, with well maintained academic blocks and green surroundings. Classrooms are spacious, equipped with projectors & audio-visual aids, and can seat around 40-60 students. The college has a well stocked library, computer labs, seminar halls, and an auditorium where events are organized. Facilities like a canteen, medical room, sports ground, and a strong campus security are available. My favorite spot is college’s noise free library. Canteen food is delicious with many options available for students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life here is lively and inclusive, with active clubs, cultural events, and especially our annual fest ‘Ullas’. The college crowd is friendly. Overall, the experience is enjoyable and enriching. I am myself a part of many societies at the college including quiz society (‘Kaleidoscope’), MUN Society (‘NUQTA’), and National Service Scheme. They have contributed a lot in my personal and academic growth. We really feel so comfortable being in our campus.

    I have spent only one year at KNC New Delhi and it has been incredible so far. The College crowd is good and diverse and the bonding that students share with each other is commendable. Each person you would meet at the campus would have a story of their own. The vibrant campus with even vibrant campus life has given me so much room to breathe.     KNC New Delhi is a top tier girls College known for its academic excellence especially in Humanities and Social Studies. The faculty is experienced and good.
