DTU New Delhi's MBA Course: Admission, Curriculum, & Exams

Choosing DTU for MBA was initially not on my list. However, after checking their whole criteria, like their average placements, which are 7 LPA -9 LPA, I changed my decision. The faculties associated with it are very good. There were various extracurricular activities available like sports, Hackathons, competitions, & many more. These helped making my experience there better.

The entry requirements are graduation, and you must have a valid CAT or MAT score to be enrolled in the program. Group Discussion and Personal Interview was taken before selection into the course. In academics, a student can score 80%-85% easily if you have attended classes properly. They teach you coding on university desktops, where we have learned various coding tools like MySQL, Python, C++, etc. They have also taught us the Powerbi, Tableau, and advanced Excel. There was an Analytics part also available in our course. Exams are conducted semester wise, in one semester, firstly there are mid terms and at the end there are final terms, so if there are four semesters, four mid terms and four end terms will be conducted during the course duration. The overall academics are good here.

The fee per year is Rs. 2,29,000. You have to pay the whole fee in the starting of the year. Our session starts in August, so first year fee is paid during the admission and then second year fee will be paid in next August. There are scholarships available for some categories of students. If you are eligible to get a scholarship, some part of your fee will be returned.

The faculties are very good. They teach through various methodologies, like using real life case studies for better understanding, PowerPoint presentations, group discussions, etc. Faculties are friendly and they want every student to learn and grow. Every student can approach faculties at any time they treat everyone equally. They are all very qualified and knowledgeable in their fields.

Placements are good in the MBA department. The average placements lie between 7 LPA- 9 LPA. Around 70 to 75% of students are placed on campus. Multiple companies come for placements, internships as well as internship + placement opportunities.

The campus is quite huge. There are various faculties available, like gym, cafeterias, a big library that is common for all the college students, and particular department wise libraries are there too. Multiple canteens are available with their prices ranging from cheap to expensive. Some brand outlets are also available like Dominos, Barista, and many more.

Overall campus life was quite good as there are multiple things to explore in this college. College crowd is also quite decent. There are many societies and clubs available to participate in, like Sports Society, Literature Society, Alumni Society, HR Society, Dance Society, Poetry Society, NSS and many more. For joining of clubs too, you have to give an interview or a group discussion. There are multiple events happening in the college like Freshers, Farewell, Diwali, Holi Party etc. Big fests are also conducted like ‘Engifest’ where many artist come and perform. It is good overall.
