My Candid Views on KU Jorhat

Overall Rating
Fests are continuous, which I think is good for the community. Local cultures are also promoted through which students from other states get to know about it. Teachers are also motivating about plans and academics. Faculty encourages us very much to take part in the course related such as Hackathon or any other seminar. About what is different in this institute from others is the thing that rules are followed well within limits and work is done on time.
 

Academics Rating
I am in B.Tech CSE. I took admission here because of its reputation and its campus placement for the courses. Exams are conducted in various parts. Like there is a sectional exam after first 2 months and another after that. After which we get End sem exam, and then a break of 1 month. Academics here, has helped me in enhancing my coding knowledge and learning how to tackle coding errors.
Fees structure about my course is good for students if compared to many other private universities. It is affordable for students.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers in my course are knowledge in their own subjects. They help me if I have a particular question even if it is not about academics. Classes are conducted in classrooms through whiteboards / projectors. Faculties are good at problem solving as far as my doubts are concerned. Teacher/student ratio for my course will be 1:65. I'm a introvert type, but still there are two teachers who behave with me and other students like our own friends
 

Placement Rating
There is a Placement Cell, which is responsible for the on campus placement. They have added placement training to help us tackle any future problems in our related field. In placement training, they teach us about coding language and practical solutions. Companies like Tata, BMW, and IBM visited last time. Packages offered last time were as high as 16 LPA. And an average package was 3 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Boys and girls hostels are separate. Non-hostellers are not allowed inside hostel so I do not know about the food or hygiene.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is very big in size and is situated on a National Highway. In the classroom, we have coolers (they work well so do not worry). Library, Seminar Hall, Auditorium, Conference Hall all are available. There are 2 canteens. For sports, there are separate grounds for each sport. For Medical, there is a clinic in SET (School of Engineering and Technology) building. Transportation is also available by the University (but you will have to pay extra for it). Security is decent here My favorite place in this university is Library.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life good as for my standards. University crowd is quite active. They will group together if there is any festival or fest. There are many clubs but I have not joined any. Extracurricular activities are also conducted by the university. There are at least 2 to 3 fests every semester. My experience is good at this university and I will recommend it!

    The Assam Kaziranga University is a really good private university for students who want to take admission in a low fee structure but good facility.     I chose this university because it is less expensive and good, as it is NAAC approved. The faculty and facilities are great. It has good access to internet and Wi-Fi availability is good. There is hostel inside the campus too. Everything about the college is mostly positive. Comparing with other universities, it is cheaper and also better in terms of teaching and facilities like labs and workshops. Sports wise also, it is amazing with fields and courts.
