Exploring Campus Life in REC Visakhapatnam

Overall Rating
My overall experience in REC Visakhapatnam is better than the expected. The easy mode of admission made it the better choice of college. The strict curriculum in this college is different from other colleges. It has the best infrastructure and great canteen facilities. Transport facility is also provided which makes it much easier to travel.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Computer Science in AI and ML Engineering, i.e. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. It is said to be the future, so I took the course with my own interest. However, it is a bit difficult to cope up in these particular courses as there are many numbers of students in the college and it seems to be impossible to get all doubts of the students solved at once. The teachers as per the regulations of the academic year recommend the academic books and the college so there will be many steps taken to change academic regulation every year.
Fee Structure in REC Visakhapatnam is less than the other colleges in the locality for Computer Science fees.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members teach every class diligently. Faculty must complete PhD to take the classes. There is a separate lab faculty and non-teaching staff like security guards are there all over the campus too. The teacher student ratio is very high. It is about to 1:70. The bonding with the faculty is decent.
 

Placement Rating
Placements will be taken at the end of final year and drives will be conducted. The students can get minimum 6 LPA if they have good coding skills.
 

Hostel Rating
College offers residential facilities and there are a large number of rooms for the students for both boys and girls separately. Food in the mess is better than expected and timing in the hostel is very strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Classrooms are good only for the first year students for other classes it is a bit unclean and not maintained well. Canteen is the best part of the college with high facility of availability of every item required by the students. Sports events are conducted every month on the weekends for the students. The labs in the college are clean and very neat.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is better than the expected. In the college, there are a large number of students as large numbers of the seats are given to the students so it is very difficult to assist every student by the staff. There are different types of Dance and Musical clubs to encourage the talent of the students. Fests are conducted every year. More events like Freshers Party also happen. The campus life of REC Visakhapatnam is very well and campus is very large.

    The campus life at Raghu Engineering College is pleasant and vibrant for students. When it comes to infrastructure, the college is spread over 50 acres with well-maintained libraries, sports facilities, canteens, etc. and proper ventilation in classrooms and hostels.
