Amity University MBA Review By Kunal Pahadiwal

Amity University was established in 1986 in Noida. Overall institute was a good experience and it was very surprising for me because I was not aware that it provide 100 percent placement. I know that fee is high because it is a premium private university of the country. There is one faculty member over less than 20 students which signify that there are lots of faculty members here. I chose this institute because it was near my company in which I got placed and colleagues also recommended me to take admission in the institute because of its high average package. I think other should choose this university because of its great architecture and faculty members. Overall institute is good and we can also apply for scholarship by Uttar Pradesh Government which is around Rs. 60,000 which is very helpful.

I did my graduation from Career Point University, Kota and I got placed in Investwell in 2019 which was a sales company. I did job there for 1 year then my seniors recommend me to do Master of Business Administration such that I can increase my profile and could be able to apply for higher profile. MBA is a business course which means They teach us subjects related to Entrepreneurship and the skill set that a successful entrepreneur should have. MBA is a 2 year long program which follows the semester system. To be eligible for this course one must have done their graduation from any university internationally. Lot of international students also studies in the university. To get admission in the institute one must have taken CUET exam. Admission forms are available on the Amity University website.

All the faculty members that teach us have done their Post Doctorate or have vast experience in the corporate world. I met many teachers who provided good guidance to me and I am very grateful for their mentorship. Since it is not a technical course so I feel many changes in the way of teaching because there are no projects in the course, you just need to submit all the assignment that is given to you. One of my faculty had given up their job and started new business. There are also international faculty member in the institute and they give very good exposure to the students. One of my teachers was from France he was taking guest lectures for the university for 10 years. Best part of the institute is the teacher because no one expects good teacher from a private university.

Amity School of Business has an amazing and very supportive placement cell, because of their effort to give a good job to the every student of the school and principle of the School was also very supportive in placement activities because he provided extra attendance for the placement activities. Placement cell also organizes expert's session to guide the students such that they can learn what companies demand from us. For my batch more than 400 companies visited the campus and offered more than 1000 offers for the MBA students. Top companies that visited the campus were Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, Josh Group, ION Group etc. Average package of my batch was Rs. 7.89 LPA and highest was of Rs. 44 LPA offered by Amazon. In my batch 100 percent students got placed.

Amity University Hostels were good and they provide good facilities as they charge impressive amount which is Rs. 1 Lakh per year because I opted for two seater room. Hostel was very neat and clean and provides many facilities like free Wi-Fi to all students, free laundry service. Mess was good they offer good food and also provide choice for the food. Food is not an issue in the university because there many good cafes like Dominos etc. in the campus. There are many hangout points for the hostel student. Best place for the hosteller is the h block because it got many cafes and shopping points. Overall college hostel experience was good and it full of fun because we made lot of friends in the hostel. There are some good PGs outside the campus that they also charge high amount and does not provide the facilities that college hostel give.

There are many building the college and all of them are designed very all. Overall college infrastructure is very good and very well designed. Campus is built in the area more than 60 acre which is huge in the city like Noida. There many building in the college which not for academic and hostels, they are just for the other amenities. There were two buildings for the Amity School of Business. University has a huge auditorium for all indoor function and session which has more than 3500 seating capacity which is enormous. There is a very big library in the university which has seating facility 24x7. Classrooms are very high tech and they have all the facilities and equipment that are required.

Amity University provides good experience to the student with great learning standards. Crowd here is very diverse because I met many students who came from outside the country. There are many extra curriculum activities that happen on the campus and I had also participated in few. Students get many opportunities to take participation in the extra curriculum activities. Amity conducts most famous sports event which called SANGTAN in which various type of sports activities happens and it last on weak. There are more than 50 clubs in the university and all of them are managed by the students and there are also few clubs which are managed by college authorities. Many fests happen in the institute including DJ night every month which was fun to go and participate.
