Admission in KPRIT Ghatkesar's B.Tech through TS EAPCET

I came across this institute when I thought I had no scope of getting into a good institute. It is a tier two institute and autonomous too. The main reason why I chose the institute was due to my interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning field. The reason why a person can choose KPRIT Ghatkesar is because the administrations values sports and events as much as education. Like even the faculty does not want you being a bookworm. They encourage you to participate in events and sports.

The course I have chosen is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML). The reason is because of current tech trends, Artificial Intelligence is booming, whether you like it or not, it will replace jobs, but it will give opportunities for new jobs too. You have to qualify in TS EAPCET 2025 to be eligible for choosing any course in my institute. Admission is same like other institutes. Just select the institute during counseling and you will get a seat if the seats are available. There are no particular exams course-wise. All exams are conducted at the same time for all the courses of same years. In one semester, you will have 2 mid exams and one end-semester exam. In the B.Tech journey, there are 8 semesters. Coming to academics, it is alright, the base foundation is introduced to you, and then you can build your skills using external resources.

The fee of my course, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is Rs. 90,000 per year. There is fee for SEED program, which is Rs. 2,000; it is for campus recruitment and training. You will have to pay it every year. There is Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology transportation too, the fees for it depends on the distance of your home from institute. There are no special discounts as far as I am aware. Scholarships can be granted from the government. You have to apply via Economically Weaker Section (EwS) Category. If scholarship is granted for, you will get Rs. 35,000 fee reimbursement.

The faculty for my course, which is, AI-ML is good. They teach well, we never had a problem with them in terms of academics. They will openly admit if they do not know something, they will learn about it and teach it you in the next class. Method of teaching varies from faculty to faculty. For instance, most of them prepare blackboard, but one faculty prefers PPT. They are good at solving problems in the subject they teach. My experience with faculty has been bittersweet.

Our campus has 3 academic blocks, with a canteen, Stationary and big playgrounds for cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi etc. The campus size is 22 acres. It is located in Khanpur Village, at the outskirts. Our campus has good greenery and very nice environment. There will occasional singing of peacocks too. Each classroom can have up to 75 students. There are multiple labs, a 150-capacity auditorium in the main block, one library with books classified based on the department. There is a canteen too, the current people are said to cook good. There is good security too. We have 3 gates and the three of them are guarded by security guards. My favorite place in the institute is the basketball court; it is where everyone comes to hang out. A new block is being built, it has digital classrooms.

My overall campus life has been good, bad, crazy, cool, everything. The institute crowd is average. Yes, there are multiple clubs in institute. I am in the hobby club. There are NSS initiatives from Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology. We have hackathons of various companies with a nice prize pool, we have tech fests, annual day every year. There are multiple programs. My experience is great, I thought I would be lonely, but I was gifted with friends who have similar mindset..
