ECE Program of KPRIT Ghatkesar: Ranks, Exams, and Fees

My overall experience in Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology is good. The reason why I chose is that it has experienced faculty. Our institute encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities. Our faculty does not want us to be stuck in books.

The course I chose is Electronics Communication and Engineering (ECE). The motive for enrolling in ECE is that I always had an interest in exploring electronic devices. At the year of my admission, which is, 2022, I got in with an EAMCET rank of 83000 rank. In first semester, we have 5 subjects. Coming to the examinations, we have two mid exams, one lab internal, and one end semester exams. There are two semesters in one year.

The fee of my course is Rs. 90,000 and coming to scholarship, I am getting fee reimbursement of Rs. 35,000.

Coming to my HOD, she has has been in our institute for ten plus years. She has good experience in teaching. The other faculty members of my department are doing great. The method of teaching is usually with blackboards and sometimes power point presentation (PPTs) to make the class engaging. The problem solving abilities of my faculty is satisfactory. According to my experience, the faculty is really approachable and understanding. Not just my department faculty but also every faculty in the institute is approachable.

Coming to the campus’ academic blocks, we have three blocks (A block, B Block, & C block is under construction as of 2025). Apart from academic blocks, we have canteen, transport, seminar halls, auditorium, labs, sports, security, and playground for volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, kabaddi, and badminton. The seating capacity of each classroom is approximately 60-65. My favorite place in the institute is basketball court. Some classes are having digital boards. In our library, we can take upto three books for 14 days.

My overall campus life is fun and I have come across amazing friends. The institute crowd is average. There are multiple clubs in institute and I am not a part in any of the clubs. We have kurukshetra, which is an inter institute sports fest which is conducted every year in our campus. We have annual fest, ‘Aarohan’ that is conducted every year and we have freshers day and farewell day. We have tech fest every year as usual. My campus life experience is good.
