From Campus to Career: All About Poona College

Overall Rating
It is my pleasure to go ahead and summaries my overall experience at Poona College of Arts, Science and Commerce. The college that played an important role in my academic as well as professional life. I would never forget the lovely memories created throughout my course. The reason behind choosing the particular college was the reputation that the college holds. Which I do not think any other nearby college holds. In addition, I would love to mention more things such as curriculum, extracurricular activities, and knowledge based learning are some more things to add to the list.
 

Academics Rating
I have pursued Bachelor of Science in this college since I was quite interested in the same since childhood. I wanted to do something in the Science stream and I found a course, which was in our budget. Anyone who has done his HSC from science is eligible for this course. Exams are taken semester wise. Different activities are carried out throughout the semester, which is quiet beneficial and might help you in the real life scenarios.
If we talk about the fee, the total fee that I have paid for the course was Rs. 15,000. I have paid in one time installment. There are various scholarships available if you want to opt for.
 

Faculty Rating
College has a dedicated faculty for each course and that is the reason we have one for our course. Faculty is incredibly amazing in all perspectives whether it is teaching or curricular activities. Teachers are highly qualified as well as experienced. Classic teaching methods are used yet they are effective. They conduct many activities such as group discussions, brainstorming session etc. teacher student ratio is excellent. I have great experience with faculty members. They were very helpful.
 

Placement Rating
College has a dedicated placement cell, which helps you to be placed in well-known MNCs. Faculty helps, and encourages the student throughout placement sessions in order to place them in reputed companies.
 

Hostel Rating
College does not have any hostel facilities however students came from other states can rent rooms or PG.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus of Poona College of Arts, Science, and Commerce is well structured and has multiple buildings, which includes classrooms, libraries, toilets, and laboratories. Classrooms are good and have decent capacity. Campus provides many facilities such as library, lab, seminar hall, etc. also have a canteen to take meals. Transportation is easy since bus stop is nearby. My favorite part throughout the curriculum was sports. I like to play cricket and we there is a big ground named goliard maiden where you can play outdoor games. My overall experience is great.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is great. We did so much things such as playing cricket, took part in various curricular activities. College has manageable crowd. Activities such as annual functions, Independence day’s functions, and many more things are there. I have celebrated public holiday with our fellow classmates and teachers, which made my campus life iconic.

    I have completed my HSC from Poona college itself and so I'm quite familiar with the faculty and staff. Poona College is one of the oldest, yet reputed institutes located in Pune.
