Admission in GCET Ranga Reddy: TS EAPCET, TS ICET, and Management Quota

The main factors for me to choose this college are its proper transport facilities, it’s ranking, and teachers. The lecturers were supportive and overall ambience was good. The placement assistance was good and training is given by them on present technologies so that we can achieve any placement.

I have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering course, as I am much interested to go towards the core jobs. The process of admission into the college is done in ways: One is through the TS EAPCET the second option is directly joining as management quota and third is through TS ICET where Polytechnic students can directly join in 2nd year by skipping first year. the candidate of this exam must possess rank in between 30000- 60000. The circular they designed in every semester suits the advancements in the technologies. The exams conducted are mid and semester. The average of the midst are taken into consideration of semester

The semester fee is Rs. 1,20,000 per year excluding the transport fee. The transport fee starts from Rs. 32,000 and the maximum fee is Rs. 50,000 per year. The JNTU affiliation fee of Rs. 2m500 is to be paid. The end semester exam fee is Rs. 1,800.

The faculties of GCET Ranga Reddy are very experienced. The teaching methods they follow are teaching on a smart board using visual picture and videos. Most of the faculty got their PhD completed. They encourage students in different activities such as participating in Hackathon conducted in different colleges, which help in gaining of skills and makes our resume profile strong and effective, which helps us in easy picking up in jobs. There is no hesitation in any point of time for clarifying any doubts in the subject this makes relation between the lecturers and students more friendly. Also, they encourage us in learning new emerging technologies.

The total blocks in GCET Ranga Reddy are 5 and a separate building for cafeteria. The 40% of campus is filled with garden, trees and sports courts. The classroom has an maximum capacity to hold upto 70-80 students. Smart boards are installed in 90% of rooms. The seating of the Auditorium is 300-400 at a time with central AC facility. The canteen has hygienic food but little expensive, the costs starting from Rs. 60. The library has many books for studying for end semester exams and competitive exams such as CAT, GATE, RRB, RRB-NTPC, etc. And the favorite thing that we like in the college is its ambience from entrance.

I got the best friends in this campus. The locality where the college is located is good. There are many clubs where you can take a part. The fests conducted every year in the month of March or April are VIBGYOR, Vibes and Annual day. The technical events are conducted by various branches and there is a chance for other college students to participate in it. There is a celebrity visit during the VIBES and entertainment during the annual day was wonderful. In summary, I enjoyed all 4 years of the B.Tech life.
