Lloyd School of Law, Greater Noida: Better Faculties and Placements

Lloyd School of law is one of the best private colleges of India. This college provides you better networks and opportunities to grow in the law field. If you were not able to crack any of the NLU's, MHCET or LSAT then Lloyd is best private college you can go for. This college allows you to participate in several moot court and debate competitions. Further, there are other various opportunities to grow. There is a separate society for Mediation, Negotiation and Arbitration fields which provides several opportunities and makes it different from other colleges

B.A. LL.B, a 5 year integrated law course is the most widely opted course for law as it opens the door for various other opportunities such as civil services along with the career in law. The zeal to work for justice, societal benefits and to create a real impact in society motivated me to opt for the law course. Admission process of Lloyd is simple, you just have to fulfill the eligibility and appear for interview. Admissions are taken based on 12th grade or other law exams such as CLAT, AILET or LSAT. moreover, our college also conducts an interview as a final stage to take admissions. Academics have engulfed me with the awareness of basic rights and their remedies.

Fee for the B.A.LL.B course is 2.5 lakh per annum, which may increase yearly. This fee structure excludes admission fee, which is Rs. 1,500, and registration fee for every semester. University exams fee is paid every semester and the amount may vary. Scholarships are also provided based on marks obtained in 12th, CLAT or AILET. These vary according to marks such as for 90%+ in 12th, 50 % scholarship is provided. There are also scholarships like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (25%) and EWS (30%).

Faculties of my course are good, they are well experienced and educated. Faculties are educated from NLU's, DU, JNU, Aligarh Muslim University and other reputed universities. They are very supportive and will help in every situation whenever needed. Every faculty is kind and supportive. Teaching method varies from faculty to faculty, some teach through PPTs, while some without PPTs. Students can approach them anytime when needed. They also help in research papers, competitions and other problems. They are available at college till 5:00 PM. You can personally meet them in college till that time, even on Saturdays. I personally had good experience with them.

Lloyd School of law provides good opportunities for placement and internships. IP cell is very kind and helpful, you can approach them for any internship or placement they will definitely help. IP cell provides both online and offline internship opportunities every semester through mails in both summer and winter vacations. Further, IP cell also provides jobs and placement opportunities through mails to their students. AZB & partners, Luthra & Luthra, Khaitan & co., and Shardul amarchand mangaldas & co. and others are renowned law firms that offer placement and jobs for Lloyd students. Highest package is 13 lakh per annum and average package is 7 lakhs per annum.

The college has both girls and boys hostel separate. There are 3 girls hostels, (2 in campus and other outside campus) and 1 boys hostel. Hostellers are provided with opportunities to visit news debates, and other events and places. Hostel fee depends on the rooms like for 3 seater Non-AC and 4 seater AC, it is 1.30 Lakh and for 3 seater AC it is 1.40 Lakh. This includes laundry and mess (4 times meal). Overall, mess food is good. Timing to reach hostel is 8:00 PM. Further, there is badminton court, basketball court and gym included in the fee. Overall, hostel is good.

Infrastructure is good. There are two campuses, Lloyd law college and Lloyd School of law. Lloyd law college is older while Lloyd School of law was established in 2021. Both campuses have their own libraries. Libraries are encompasses with good quality and renowned authors' books. There are vast variety of law books, which are helpful in competitions and internship. There are 8 floors with 4 lecture halls and 1 auditorium, which is much bigger. Also, there is one canteen and 3 more shops. Classrooms are good and well furnished with smart boards. There is also a personality development class too.

Campus life here is good, it provides students a better experience and surrounding. College crowd is good and kind. Moreover, college also organises fests every year, like ‘Catalyst’ and ‘Antaraal’ where renowned celebrities come such as Darshan Raval and Anubhav Singh bassi. Further, sports competitions are also organised every year. The college has also hosted renowned moot court competitions like FDI and Brown Mosten. There are societies for various fields such as drama society, fashion society, moot court society and LIMA (meditation and arbitration competitions).
