Lloyd School of Law Greater Noida Admission is Through CLAT & AILET Exams

Lloyd School of Law Greater Noida is a very respected Law College of Delhi NCR. This made me choose the College, and after NLUS & Nirma, it has a pretty good image in North India. Even the placements in the College are good and the exposure they provide in respect to moots & other competitions is tremendous. I joined this College last year and it gave a lot of opportunities to students in the first year. The staff is quite supportive when it comes to competitions and extracurricular. But the management can be better, be it hostel management or attendance management. The academic experience is quite good and other students can join the College as the faculties focus a lot on their students.

I have chosen B.Com.LL.B as my course as it opens various doors to Corporate Law and other fields. You can also pursue an MBA degree after this or apply in Banking exams and various other areas as it is related to Commerce subjects. The admission process started from an interview in which they asked various questions related to current affairs, GK. It also requires you to pass your 10+2 exams and score 40% minimum. They also ask you for any kind of scholarships that you are eligible for and then you have to pay the fees accordingly. Exams take place 2 times in a year and a year has 2 semesters.

Fees of the course is Rs. 1,75,000/- semester wise and we have to pay half of the fees which is Rs. 87,500/- in the beginning. The College provides scholarships on the basis of your 12th marks and CLAT and AILET, scores. They also provide special scholarships to girl students and EWS category.

The faculty members are quite good and have an expertise in their subjects. All my teachers have done Ph.D in their respective subjects that they teach. They use PPTs for teaching and group discussion on every topic is mandatory if the topic requires. Teachers are supportive and help us to deal with our problems even going beyond academics. The bonding with the faculty is good and they are friendly.

The placement cell is present in the College but very few students get placed. They provide internships to every student and the College conducts various meetup sessions with renowned Lawyers and Judges. Well-known companies visit the College.

Yes, hostels are provided. Total of around 100-200 rooms per hostel are there and for girls they have three hostels and for boys a big hostel with various buildings is there. Each hostel has about 500-600 students. Hostel fee range is Rs. 1,60,000/- to Rs. 1,90,000/- as per the room, whether it is single, double or three students’ occupancy in a single room.

The campus is around 4.5 acres. 4 to 5 blocks in each campus. The classrooms are huge and air conditioned. The College is divided in two campuses, both on each side of the road. Library is quite huge and there are two libraries for each course. There are labs and seminar halls as well. Transport facility is provided to the students by the College. Canteen is available and security is strict & medical room is there. My favourite part is the library. The infrastructure of the moot room is similar to a court room which gives similar experience of a court case.

The crowd is average and there are limited outing options. Few fests are conducted in College which are average. There are various clubs and societies in the College and they participate in various competitions. The Dean of the law department is very supportive and motivating. The campus life in Lloyd School of Law Greater Noida is decent.
