As a final year Student at Lloyd School of Law Greater Noida, the overall experience is great. The Institute provides a good blend of theoretical learning and practical exposure. It encourages their students to participate in co-curricular activities along with ample focus to academic excellence. It has various active societies like the Moot Court Society, Debate Society, and so on which helps the students with sharpening of their legal skills for the practical world. Along with that, it also has lots of extracurricular societies for varied interests like Fashion, Music, Dance, Art, Poetry, Drama, and Sports. All of this provides a perfect blend of Institute life.

I have chosen B.A.LL.B as my course, as it builds the foundation of understanding of Law, in my opinion. To take admission in the Institute, applicants must pass 12th Class with at least 60% marks. Candidates also need to appear for the Institute’s online test or have to appear for CLAT or LSAT for admission in my course and B.Com.LL.B. For the LL.B program, students need to appear for either DU.LL.B or MH CET. Final selection depends on the score of the entrance and the personal interview.

Institute fee depends on the type of course chosen. Overall, for B.A.LL.B, the total fee goes up to Rs. 9,00,000/- and for LL.B up to Rs. 4,00,000/-. It has a decent fee structure, and the Institute also provides various kinds of scholarships.

We have very well-qualified faculty, most of the faculty members are Ph.D. holders in their respective areas. Every professor has their own method of teaching, and they also take the initiative to make classes more engaging. We have a 40:1 ratio of students and teachers in classes. They are very approachable and always ready to help with any kind of academic issue and also provide suggestions when needed. I had a great experience with in this aspect. Most of the professors have 9-10 years of experience in teaching.

Our placement cell is very active, and they ensure that every student gets an internship during the internship break. They also approach the employer on our behalf to make the placement and internship process go smoothly. They always give a reminder of the availability of an internship and placement opportunity. From the 1st semester, we start doing internships.

Lloyd School of Law Greater Noida does offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls, and it has in-campus hostel facilities. I have been in the Institute’s hostel in my first year. The fee for the same is paid on annual basis. The hostel has good-quality mess food, and they are very strict about hygiene.

The Institute has two campuses with great space, and both campuses have parking facilities. They have their own library and reading area, which are always open till 8 PM for every student. The Second Campus has 8 floors with a lift facility. We have several canteens on-campus. Every classroom has an air-conditioner and is well-equipped. We have a seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. as some of the infrastructural facilities. Moreover, there are medical and transport facilities too.

I had a great experience on-campus. They organise an annual sports fest, along with many other events. We have ‘Catalyst’ as the yearly fest. There are many clubs, and from time to time. They also organise flash mobs and present their art. I was a part of one of the art societies. We have a decent crowd on-campus, which makes the campus life great. Last year, renowned artists were also invited to perform at the annual fest.
