About IIS University Jaipur: All the Aspects

Overall Rating
Back in 2016 when I completed my schooling. I decided to pursue my Bachelor from a decent University located in Jaipur. I had a lot of option but coming from an overprotective family, I chose IIS University. I changed the Institution during 3rd semester from Subodh College to this University. The reason behind this was I was facing commute problem since I lived with my parents. I was looking for a University which had its own commute facility. The University has a decent alumni network. My batch mates were really kind and helped me in navigating the change.
 

Academics Rating
I was a Commerce student and coming from a business family, I decided to go for B.com. For admission, the students need to score good marks in their HSC. The admission process includes filling out the forms and submitting the required documents. We had continuous assessment and assignments before every semester and final exams. The classes held regularly and it helped me not to go off the track in my studies. My academic years were full of exams, projects, and assignments.
The fee of my course is Rs. 70,000/- to Rs. 80,000/- per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this University are well qualified. They share real life cases to the students and what will be the life after the graduation. They provide knowledge more than just books and theories. For every subject there were at least 2 Professors. The teaching methods include group decision, blackboards, etc. If the students have any doubt, they can ask them. The faculty members are approachable. We also had assistant professors who are pursuing their Ph.D.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, IIS University has a placement cell. The placements were average. If you are in a constant touch with the placement cell and teachers, you might have high chances to get a job. The average placement was around 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The students who have done Certificate courses and Diplomas may get good opportunities off the campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, IIS University offers hostel facilities to the girl students. The rules are very strict, you are not allowed to enter or exit after evening without permission. The mess food is decent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is located in the city. In my opinion, the classrooms need more improvement. There are three canteens in the campus and one of the canteens is operated by disabled people. The security of this University is very strict. No student can leave the campus without getting their ID card checked. My favorite spot was the Library in the entire campus, it is huge and quiet. The parking facility need more upgrade.
 

Campus Rating
Overall Campus life was decent. The campus crowd was good. The students are supposed to contribute in annual fest which is conducted every year. Some renowned personalities also come to our Universities during the fest. I remember Rani Mukherjee came to our University to promote her film and the entire campus was full of positive energy. We had so much fun that time.

    My experience at IISU Jaipur was kind of bittersweet. It is an all girls' University. The faculty and facilities are really well. You should join to the University if you want a balanced academic life because it’s both fun and well-managed.     Overall experience was good. One of the biggest reasons of choosing this University was its discipline and the campus environment. The faculty was another big reason for choosing this University.
