IIS University Jaipur's Law Course: Academics, Fees, and More

IIS University provides a variety of courses. The faculty is very smart and experienced; they have the real world experience. I have done my Bachelor's in Journalism, mass communication, the university has its own studio where many workshops are held, and they have their community radio. They focus on providing more practical knowledge, which help students in their future. They focus more on enhancing the student's skills. The university organizes field visits to many places where students gain the real world experience.

I have chosen Journalism and Mass Communication because I wanted to enhance my communication skills. This course include a wide range of subject like photography, news writing, advanced new media, film making, podcast, radio, etc. The faculty of this course is extremely experienced and smart they know what will be helpful for the students. They give assignments, which interests students and will help them in their skill enhancement. The admission process is so smooth you have to carry your documents like your 10th and 12th marksheet. You can talk to the teachers they will guide you what course is good for you and they will tell you what will be the scope of the course you have selected. You can also choose add on courses like Event Management, Animation, Theatre, and Dance.

The fee of this course is Rs. 80,000 per year. Semester one fees will be Rs. 45,000 and the second semester fees will be Rs. 35,000. No special discount is provided by the university because the fee criterion is very affordable as compared to other universities. The faculty of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication is highly experienced and smart. They have the real world experience. They focus more on providing practical knowledge, which help students understands better. The faculty understands the student's problem or concern no matter if it is related to the university or outside the university. They organize workshops and field visit, which help students to know more about how things work. The department will take you field visits on places like printing press, news channels, and historical places for the photography so that the student will get the practical knowledge. The teachers are very friendly you do not have to think about asking anything from them. They will be your friends in problem.

The university has hostel facilities for the students, it is only for girls. The hostel is divided into 3 buildings; they have the mess facility too which provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. The parents can rely on the hostel it is very safe because the hostel students do not have the permission to go outside the university, the university will allow it only after the parent’s confirmation.

The university infrastructure is old and needs to be renovated. The University have Seminar hall, Studio, Chemistry Labs, Conference Hall and Canteen facilities for the students. My favorite thing about the university is the lawn area it is so peaceful, I complete my work in the lawn area instead of library. The classrooms are big but they do not have the ac only that is the negative point overall the university is great.

The university crowd is very good not like other universities, they will help you if you are in problem. My campus life was so amazing because, I got good friends and the teachers are good. The university does not require a particular attendance percentage, which is good for the students so they can focus on other things like enhancing their skills by joining internships. The university also offers learning and development subject, which helped me, build confidence, and enhanced my communication skills. They organize workshop where they invite experts to guide students and what field will be helpful for them.
