Why SASTRA University Thanjavur is The Best

Overall Rating
SASTRA university Thanjavur is the best university where you can make a better future. My overall experience includes exposure to various students from various states; students come across from all over India to study here. I chose this university because of its campus life and placements. And I ask students to choose this university because this is a place where you can improve your knowledge and skill. I found it to be a better place than other because of the experienced staffs and placements rate too.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science and Engineering because of its emergence in future. Both JEE and HSC marks will be considered for admission. Your marks with most percent in either one (JEE/12th mark) we be considered at the time of admission here. Admission process for engineering is fully online and applications are released during June of every year. There are three internal exams and one end semester exam for every semester. Academic life will surely change your life for the better.
1st year fee starts from 1 Lakh+ and there is a 5% annual increase after. Scholarship and financial aids are there for some students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well talented. They are PhD scholars. Staff teaches using both PPT and blackboards. Sometimes they hold group discussions too. Seminars also take place sometimes. Staffs are good with problem solving abilities. There is one staff for 50 students. They are very approachable, if you have any doubts, you can ask anytime. They are very friendly and mostly available for all the classes.
 

Placement Rating
I have joined SASTRA university Thanjavur just because of its placements. Most of students acquire jobs from placements cells here. Pre-placement training is provided for 3rd year students. Wipro, TCS, Comcast, Cognizant, Accenture are the major companies that visit here. Average package is 3 LPA and highest is 22 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
As I was a day scholar, I don't know much about hostel. But, some of my friends said that hostel food was average, and annual fee depends on the type of room you have chosen. Mess fee is Rs. 3,000 per month.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Many blocks are here. For every building, there is an auditorium. 60+ members can sit in a classroom. There is a single big building for a library with more than 1 Lakh books. Labs are well maintained and clean. Canteens and conference halls are available too. However, sports facility is somewhat limited. Canteen was my favourite place.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience is actually amazing. The crowd was not very high. Many clubs are there with diverse culture. ‘Kuruksastra’ was the annual cultural event and ‘Daksh’ was the tech management event. Additional to this, few extra events keep happening.
