Overall Rating
Now I have studied there for a year I figured out that approaching people here is easy and that is the best thing about the campus. From second semester, I started to enjoy my time at the college as I joined some clubs too. There are various other colleges inside the same campus so it is a wholesome experience.
 

Academics Rating
B.Com isn't a demanding a course, unless you are doing CA and CFA along. I am just pursuing B.Com, so after four hours of lectures daily, and I am done with the academics at the college. Academics started with the best possible start as in 1st semester we had 5 subjects and 2 practical subjects and I cleared them all with over 8 CGPA. From this year, I have decided to take up some add-on course as our college itself offers many.
Luckily even though we are a private university, B.Com here is affiliated with Mumbai University and therefore the fees is standard which is Rs. 12,000.
 

Faculty Rating
If we miss the lectures, and are worried how to get that portion right, faculties fix it by rebuilding and make us recover for all of that by having special classes. Attendance of 80% is compulsory as they can deny giving examination card if we fall short on attendance.
 

Placement Rating
Very few companies come as B.Com placements are quite thin. The placement cell organizes seminars where industry people. They emphasize on skill learning. So, all skills and all are taught here for off campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
There are hostels inside the campus and since many students come from far off places, they do stay at the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In all there are around 6-7 canteens and four auditoriums. The biggest auditorium of the campus is Kalidas Sabhagruha. Not just college events but some political events and other events too have been hosted at our auditorium. Sports ground and sports facilities are solid and badminton courts are made with absolute precision. Also, third floor of our college building has a library and I personally spend more time there than the canteens.
 

Campus Rating
Internal markings depends a lot on attendance and therefore I make sure I have 85-90% attendance. The best memory of college so far is when we were took to a trip to Bombay Stock Exchange. Locals are not allowed inside the building so for me this exposure of campus life was certainly the best.

    KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is an Autonomous College under the affiliation of the University of Mumbai. It is a part of the Somaiya campus and provides a variety of courses in Humanities and Commerce. I have been a student of KJSAC for over two years now and it has been a wonderful experience so far.     It has been 2 years since I am studying in KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce. Somaiya doesn't only give you a degree but helps you grow in many aspects! KJ Somaiya Arts and Commerce admission process a simpler and non hectic unlike other colleges. The overall teachings you get there are priceless.
