About GEU Dehradun: All the Aspects

Overall Rating
GEU Dehradun is a University that holds a good name for Engineering, as the quality of placements and other facilities are top notch. The fees is slightly high, but education here is worth it all.
 

Academics Rating
When I saw the academics and questioned myself that if I study all this and practice all this, will I become an engineer? The answer was certainty yes. Robotics and Automation is my course, which has just 43 students. Our labs are just used by us as no other stream students are allowed to even enter them because they are meant purely for us.
GEU Dehradun is among one of the expensive universities as 5 Lakh is the yearly fee and if one opts for hostel, the fees for that is separate.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties sometimes looks scary as they are a bit strict and particular about punctuality. If classes are at 8 AM, they will be ready at 7.45. They have ensured that our branch result will be 100% and they do their routine whole heartedly to make sure it remains so.
 

Placement Rating
All I know is from this year onwards we have to go for internships at new age robotics startups like Muks Robotics and Dataviv Technologies. So I am sure if university is looking after internships, they will look after the placements even more.
 

Hostel Rating
There is central hostel inside the main campus, 3 boys hostels and Marina Girls Hostel is there. I have rented a PG just 200 meters from the University as entire clement town is full of PGs.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Pick any facility that our university has and you will immediately label that as world class. Labs and library are well maintained. College football ground is also there.
 

Campus Rating
It is important that one has like-minded people around and GEU Dehradun has that. Secondly, students from so many states and some African Nations have come here to study that it almost feels like we are in a different world altogether. Since India is a country of festivals, our campus marks all the festivals celebrations. Tech fests and cultural fests are also superior to all the universities or colleges in Dehradun.

    At GEU Dehradun, studies are made easier as when I enrolled for Engineering, I thought it would be very tough and I will be studying all day long. However, university timings are quite lengthy but after coming back, there is no touching to any of the textbooks or the laptop for studies.
