Quality of Education at Graphic Era University Dehradun

Overall Rating
If there's a University which can bring novelty then that is Graphic Era University Dehradun. I was warned by many that the culture and hype was not promising. So, if I have to write my overall experience, I would say that it is promising. I have seen Institution for 3 semesters now and it is exceptional. The placements are more than exceptional. Fests and events are also organised very well.
 

Academics Rating
B.Tech is definitely one of the best courses here and there are nearly 6 to 8 specialisations. The University has its own evaluation entrance and on that basis, the students are given admission. Exams’ difficulty level is high but if one practises all the Daily Practise Assignments then, they can pass with flying colors.
The annual fee for my course is around Rs. 4,00,000/-. It is high but justified because the kind of return on investment that one can have here is more than invaluable. Moreover, 15% scholarship is granted to the students for scoring a CGPA of 8 or more. Moreover, scholarships are available for the SC category of students. Either category or merit-based scholarships can be availed by the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at GEU Dehradun is exceptional in terms of knowledge and teaching skills. They don’t just possess great teaching skills but also high expertise in the industry. So, instead of teaching us things that won’t help in any kind of skill-building, they teach us things which will enhance our skills. All the faculties who have taken lectures so far are masters of all key areas of Technology such as Operating Systems, Data Structures, Algorithms, etc.
 

Placement Rating
I have mentioned it earlier that the placements here are exceptional. If you’re traveling to Dehradun, you can see the placement advertisements of this University almost everywhere. On an average, I think the packages that are offered to CSE students are in the range of 10 LPA to 15 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure at Graphic Era University Dehradun is definitely a solid 9/10 without any doubts. Personally, I think that the campus is not properly planned and instead of too many small campuses, they can build a larger new campus. There are different Academic blocks for different departments. The main campus is perhaps, the most beautiful sight as from top-notch buildings to beautiful Gardens, it has everything.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is certainly 11/10 as my experience at the campus has been too good. Coming from Bihar, it is good to be part of this University. Equal opportunities, rights, and participation in everything has made my campus life fully worth it. Fests to Society Meets, everything here has its own aura.

    At GEU Dehradun, studies are made easier as when I enrolled for Engineering, I thought it would be very tough and I will be studying all day long.
