Sharda University MBA Review By Kiran Kumari

Sharda University was established in 2009 and it offer more than 200 courses in different streams. There are students here in the university from more than 80 countries. University provides good exposure to all of the institute in all areas of life. One year fee in the college is Rs. 2.5 Lakh which is pretty high and economically week students cannot afford it without any financial support. I choose this university because my alumni recommended me to do MBA so I can have good profile in the companies. One can choose this institute if they have money to afford it because for one year fee is 4 lakh including the hostel fee. Institute does have much to offer for the students like more than 400 companies visit the campus ground for the recruitment. Sharda University also provides free transport service for the students if they want to go outside the campus.

I did my graduation from JSSATE Noida and then I got job from the campus but one of my alumni suggested me to do Master of Business Administration. This course is not a technical program as my graduation course; this course does offer many soft and hard skill for the students such that they can develop entrepreneurial and managerial skills. Each year we have to internship in a good company and also in each semester we go through the article ship for the exposure to the company culture. Admission in the institute are done by two ways one is through the Combined University Entrance Test and other way of the admission is through the management seats in which one have to submit to donate 2-5 Lakh to the university and then they allot seat to the students.

Sharda University Faculty members are good because they offer great learning to all the students and all of them are highly qualified in the area of business administration. I know many teacher who have studied in the IIM and they also have many patent in their names and they provide good all the basic skill to be a good leader in the life and how to lead a team. There are not lot of technical subject excluding some aptitude and logical reasoning subject hence there is not much to experiment in the classes and we have learn all the things. Sharda delivers what they offer and they charge a handful amount for that also. Teaching style of the faculty members is good and they try to teach each and every concept with ease so everyone can understand the concept.

Sharda University Greater Noida is huge in terms of number of students across all the courses. In present day Sharda University has more than 35000 students and placement cell here has to provide job to each of its students which is difficult task to do. Placement cell here work very smartly and allows only students who have not placed in any company which means students having already placed are not placed in any company. Many multinational companies come to the campus for the recruitment and some of the companies are Cognizant, Mahindra, Audi, Info System, Invest Well, Mirketa, Alstom, Navarro, TCS, Samsung etc. Placement cell is very helpful for the students and also provide industrial training and internship opportunity for the students. They provide really good internship opportunities.

Hostel in the Sharda University are very good and hostel rooms are well maintained. But I can say that hostel fee is also very high for the middle class students. As a girl it was my compulsion to take college hostel because my family does not allow to live in PG. I took three sharing air conditioned room for which they charge Rs. 1.3 lakh per annum. Apart from the fee problem overall hostel experience was great because room was good and washroom was attached to the room so we do not need to waste our time in the queue for the washroom as it was in my graduation. Hostel mess feels like restaurant by design and by food also because they really provide very good food in here and they change the menu on the suggestions of the students. There are many engagement activities that happen in the campus.

Sharda University built on the area of more than 50 acres with great architectural design. Since institute is not old hence there are many modern technologies in the institute. Many buildings are here in the institute and all the classrooms are well maintained. Every room in the university is designed very smartly. All type of facilities are available in the institute like we have a big library in a big building and one big auditorium and we also have a big building which has all types of shops which feels like mall. There are more than 30 buildings in the institute and 3 grounds which are used for the sports activities. College structure is new and great and college infrastructure is amazing. College also has Olympics level swimming pool in the campus and we also have a Incubator for our entrepreneurial Ideas.

Campus Life here at the Sharda University is amazing because we interact with people across the world and we live with them we learn their culture. Three main fest happen each year in the university. One fest is Neo-Fest which happens to welcome new entry students in the university and this fest is organized only for the freshers. Autumn fest happen each year for 2 days in this fest there are lot of activities happen like dance performances, singing performances, rangoli and drawing competitions. The biggest fest of the university is called CHORUS which happens each year but it did not happen last year due to corona virus. In CHORUS there are lot of competition happens in the campus and it much celebrated event of the university. Clubs in the university are Dance Club, Music Club, Dramatic Club, Fashion Club, Literary Club, Photography Club, Environment Club, Fine Arts Club, and Diversity Club.
