Life at AIT Coimbatore

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Adithya Institute of Technology is average. I chose this Institution because of its fees structure, counseling and my cutoff marks. This Institute is different from other Institutions because in this Institution the faculties are cooperative. Here ragging is strictly prohibited and if you're proven guilty, the respective student will be debarred or suspended.
 

Academics Rating
The course I have chosen is B.E in Civil Engineering. The entry requirement is minimum for the course I have chosen. The requirements are 65% in grade 12th public exam and 100+ score to satisfy the cut-off list. The admission process is easy; you have to submit your documents, like, Transfer Certificate, Mark Sheet, Aadhar card, etc., and the admission fees of your course. Academics can help the students to acquire knowledge and skills to face the real life problems.
The fee structure for the course I have chosen is Rs. 50,000/- per year and the admission fee is Rs. 10,500/-.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my course are mostly friendly and they are skilled in their respective subjects. They are supportive; both academically and practically. Most of the faculty members in my course are masters or Ph.D holders. Faculty members take lectures and lessons in projector and blackboards; this is the most common method of teaching in my course. The problem solving abilities of faculties varies from one faculty to another.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Institution campus has a M block for MBA students, A and E block for Art and Science students, W block for Health and Science students and S and N block for Engineering students. The classrooms are very spacious and well maintained with fans, lights and projectors to teach. Library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, stationary, canteen, etc. are there too. The bakery which is in front of the Institute is the most favorite place of the students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus size of AIT Coimbatore is average. There are many clubs out of which the Rotaract club is the most active. The Institute is not so crowded. The cultural fest called Agni is held in march and activities like sports day, celebration of festivals like Onam and Pongal are held once a year for the students to help them feel engaged throughout the semester. The overall experience of the Institute and the course I have chosen is average.
