My Journey in Bharati College Delhi

Overall Rating
The overall experience was good in this College. It was my dream to study at Delhi University and then I got an all girls College which was very exciting I would also recommend this College to my juniors. Bharati College is an off campus College.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.com program because I am from Commerce background. Basically I wanted to do Honours but couldn't so I decided to go for this course I am also pursuing CS alongside. I got into this College through CUET which was highly competitive and tough. You need to score good to get into this College. I gave 5-6 hrs daily to prepare for this exam.
The fees varies from course to course my course fees is Rs. 15,000/- annually. They also provide scholarships to students with less income. There is also an registration fees of around Rs.250/- for Delhi University and financial help is also given to SC/ST students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very friendly and good they are always on time and are ready to solve our problems, they never fail to motivate us. The teachers organise different seminars for students to give thoughtful information and insights, they also share their personal experiences. The faculty members create a very friendly environment so we can get in touch with them anytime. There are approximately 70 teachers for my department and all are experienced in their forte.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell in my College is not too good but not that bad. There is a society which guides students about the placements and their benefits. Companies like Wipro visit our College and choose best candidates, I have heard from the seniors that good amount of students are placed on an average package of 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes there is hostel facility available for girls who come from faraway places and the mess food is very good, they provide 4 time meal system meal. The hostel fees is around Rs. 30,000/- annually. The rooms are divided each rooms has 3 beds and the rules are very strict. The hostel have a guard which is available 24/7, no student can come out after 9 pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 2 building in my College one is old and other one is new. Each building has 3-4 floors and the rooms get cleaned daily. The College has gym, cafeteria, and canteen, and a library of 2 floors with AC facilities. They also have seminar halls, theatre room and an auditorium with the capacity of around 1000 students every meeting or orientation is held there. The medical room is available 24/7 for students. My favorite spot is cafeteria as I enjoy there a lot with my friends.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus is great and very insightful. The crowd is average to be very honest people from different places are studying here. There are so many clubs and societies in my College like Art, Dance, Literature, Marketing society. They organise some activities every day, there’s one main annual fest organised by the College last time Khullar G performed at the fest and everybody enjoyed a lot.

    Bharati College is a college under University of Delhi. It is a women college so there is no issues regarding sexual harassment and the girls can wear any dress they wish.     Honestly speaking, Bharati College was not my first preference but my parents told me if you want to do your bachelor's regular, you should choose Bharati College as it is the nearest and a good college of Delhi University. After I got admission, my perception literally changed, and I started liking it. The teachers are really cooperative and are always ready to help. Area around the college is also very nice.     Bharti College is affiliated with University of Delhi which falls under the South campus. The campus is situated in the lush green environment of Janakpuri with a lot of other places to hangout. There are a lot of eateries and cafes around. It is a women's College, hence, it's the safest place and a place where women can freely be themselves.     Bharati College is a part of University of Delhi and is located in Janakpuri East. It’s an all-girls’ college of Arts and Social Sciences that offer various courses in bachelors and honors and a master’s degree in Hindi.
