College Life at Bharti College New Delhi

Overall Rating
Bharti College is affiliated with University of Delhi which falls under the South campus. The campus is situated in the lush green environment of Janakpuri with a lot of other places to hangout. There are a lot of eateries and cafes around. It is a women's College, hence, it's the safest place and a place where women can freely be themselves. College offers various clubs and groups so that we can participate and explore other curricular activities.
 

Academics Rating
There are various courses offered by the College and the faculty is qualified enough to help you out. The eligibility is through the cutoffs decided by the University of Delhi and after clearing the cutoff there is another round of approval. Exams are generally held in the semester basis and regular internal exams are held. Classes are held at regular intervals and minimum 15 minutes break is given so that you can freshen up.
The fee structure is generally low as compared to other big private Universities. The average fee structure for all the courses is around Rs. 50,000/-. There are various scholarships offered to the meritorious students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is qualified enough. Most of faculties are either full time Ph.D candidates or they have completed their Post-Doctorate degree. The method of teaching is generally the traditional method that is the blackboards. The College is yet to be upgraded with the current technology. However, there are computer labs and other various labs and also an auditorium. The faculty also motivates and encourages you to participate in various club activities and also in the Inter-College competitions.
 

Placement Rating
There is also placement cell in the College which notifies you timely about the job opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
There is a hostel in the College but that is generally reserved for the schedule candidate or the meritorious candidates.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Overall, the infrastructure of Bharti College has room for improvements. The buildings and the College library need renovation. College also has various labs, seminar halls, auditorium, conference halls, etc. However, the size of the seminar halls is quite small. The auditorium is spacious. The campus size is quite good and spacious. The College also has a canteen.
 

Campus Rating
Overall College campus life is good; you feel fresh as soon as you enter the College. There is lush greenery in and around the College. There are clubs and groups, for example, the music society, the dance society, the debating society, etc. The College usually organises the annual fest in the month of February but there are other small cultural fest which are held throughout the year. There is always some sort of hustle going on in the College so you won't feel bored.

    Honestly speaking, Bharati College was not my first preference but my parents told me if you want to do your bachelor's regular, you should choose Bharati College as it is the nearest and a good college of Delhi University. After I got admission, my perception literally changed, and I started liking it. The teachers are really cooperative and are always ready to help. Area around the college is also very nice.     Bharati College is a part of University of Delhi and is located in Janakpuri East. It’s an all-girls’ college of Arts and Social Sciences that offer various courses in bachelors and honors and a master’s degree in Hindi.
