My Opinion on KMC New Delhi: Best Infrastructure & Education

Overall Rating
Since I wanted to pursue Political Science (Hons.), I chose Kirori Mal College as it is known to have best faculty in terms of Political, Geography and other Arts subjects. The college is definitely a good place for socializing, studying and learning. Many events are organised, making everyday fun and interactive to make new friends.
 

Academics Rating
KMC Delhi is the only co-ed college that offers Honours in Geography, highlighting a promising faculty. One needs to give CUET exam and score good marks to achieve this college ( for arts subject around 720). Admission process is simple like for other colleges. Freeze your seat and pay the fees. Then on first day just bring in your documents (10th and 12th marksheet, payment receipt) for verification.
Fee for BA (Hons.) Political Science is Rs. 12,900. There are many scholarships available. As you get in college, 1st year students who scored 95 percent marks in 12th boards get scholarship of Rs. 6000.
 

Faculty Rating
Personally, the faculty for my course is really great and same I can guarantee for all other departments. Classes are held on regular basis. Faculty is really friendly and open to bringing in discussions in every class. Since new courses have been introduced due to NEP, guest faculties are invited for lectures too.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of this college is good. Many renowned companies do visit the college but competition is tough. The placement cell of the college, ‘Avenues’ does help by organising an internship fairs every year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academics block, grounds and canteens are placed in right way. Canteen is just near the academic block making it feasible for students. Campus size is a bit small compared to other colleges. Infrastructure is okay and can be maintained more. All the facilities like library with library lawn, labs for all science subjects, medical room, sports grounds, canteen, etc. are great places for meet up.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is great and really sociable. College has a lot of crowd, especially due to availability of space for meet ups like library lawn, canteen lawn, sports complex and common rooms for both boys and girls. Many societies are available from cultural to service to placements. I myself am a part of National Service Scheme and I have learned a lot being part of it. All the societies work actively here. College is adorned with decorations every day due to events and fest which is also one of the reasons why socializing over here is great.

    It has been nothing but a wonderful experience at Kirori Mal College, which is by the way considered one of the best UG colleges. Trust me it does deserve this title. It secured 9th NIRF ranking in 2024, which make me proud that I am able to study in one of the top colleges of India.     I Think my College, Kirorimal College New Delhi, is one of the finest College of India which offers multiple courses with such renowned faculties and their experience. College is best balanced with education and extra co curricular activities. For science stream students have proper practical labs and classes are also good.     Kirori Mal College is a great place for Bachelor studies in the North campus of University of Delhi. The college is one of the top colleges for Science and the NIRF ranking is pretty high too. The college provides you facilities like gymnasium, GCR and BCR (Commons rooms) equipped with good indoor games and stuff. The societies of the college live up to their reputation.
