Student’s Life at Uttaranchal University Dehradun

Overall Rating
It’s my first year in Uttaranchal University and what I found best about this is its faculty members who supports in studies and placements very well. Every Universities are very strict and don’t conduct events and also has bad infrastructure but this University is good as compared to those.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) in Uttaranchal University because this is the best University here which supports student’s future and make their future bright. The eligibility criteria for this course are minimum 60% marks in 12th Standard with any stream. No exam is conducted for admission process. My course deals with Information Technology and I like this course because today's generation only needs Software Developers.
The fees in total is minimum Rs. 3,70,000/-. The course is divided into 6 semesters. Students had to pay tuition fees with some extra charges like library fees, etc. once within the duration of 6 months. During admission we get scholarship which is based on our 12th marks and state domicile.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are 10/10. The background of the faculty members is also good. Methods of teaching are good they use verbal and PPTs methods very well. They are experienced and know how to deal with the students. The teaching methods are suitable for all students and the faculty is highly educated.
 

Placement Rating
Minimum 50% to 70% of students get placements by Uttaranchal University. They invite companies for placements; high tech companies come and choose students according to their criteria. They take GD rounds and interviews to hire students for different domains. Packages are also good; the average package is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The University provides separate hostel facilities for girls and the boys inside the campus. Their charges are different from the tuition fees. The rooms are also well built and value for money and the hostler’s life is full of fun with safe environment. They also get medical facilities 24/7.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Campus is very big. There are different building for every department with separate ground and labs. The Seminar hall is in every department. Transport facilities are also available for students. The auditorium is very big and well built. The infrastructure of the University is best; facilities like gym, salon, and cafes are also there inside the campus. Sports facilities are also available in our University
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is full of fun. We participate in different activities which helps us boost our confidence. Clubs are also good. Fests and events also take place in which the whole University takes part with full fun. I enjoyed my campus life very well and also took part in all the activities. the students in sports also go to the national level. Students can show their sports abilities at national level events and become national players. I'm also a part of many events. I also participate in dance, painting, and many other activities. This helps me to boost my confidence.

    The infrastructure of the university has been great until now. It is one of the most popular universities and is listed in top universities in Dehradun Uttarakhand. It is situated near Prem Nagar. The university offers numerous courses to the students. University is full of experienced and well-qualified professors who will help you in every aspect of your academy journey.     Our university has a beautiful and wide campus and offers multiple courses. Our teachers are so talented and experienced in their respective fields. Our university has huge campus and a huge auditorium. We have 3 food court areas which are hygienic and budget friendly for the students.     Uttaranchal University is beautiful University situated in between the greens and has an amazing infrastructure. The reason I chose this college is because it is quite cheaper than all the other colleges in Dehradun. For B.Sc it is A1 institute while I didn't recommend this for masters as placement ratio in Every batch differ.... Read Full Review
