My Personal Opinion on MBM University Jaipur

Overall Rating
I have been here since last year and my experience in this University is overall good. The fee of this University is affordable as compared to other private Universities. The study environment here is above average. I chose this University because I haven’t got admission in any IIT or NIT but after that I chose MBM University as it is Rajasthan one of the top State Government Engineering Institutions. The alumni network of this University is very strong and talented.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in Engineering field because it is one of the fields. For admission in University you have to score good marks in JEE Main. The admission process is very simply but you have to apply for REAP counseling. The exams are conducted every 1 to 2 months.
The fee of B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is Rs. 21,000/- per semester so the fee per year is Rs. 42,000/-. The admission fee is Rs. 7500/-. The discounts are available for girls and special category students. There are many scholarships provided by alumni association of University and NGOs. I also got Sumedha Scholarship of Rs. 10,000/- in my first year.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of MBM University are well qualified and well educated. They have done Masters or Ph.D. The teaching method includes blackboards, etc. The teachers solve doubts of the students if they have any. The teacher to student ratio is 1:30. Some of the faculties are very kind towards students. Overall, the faculties are good.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell is known as Training and Placement Office (TPO). They help students a lot so that they can get placed in good companies. In 2024, the highest package of my branch was 13 LPA, average package is of 8.1 LPA, and the median package is of 6.8 LPA. In my branch 47 students out of 60 students get placed. For getting on-campus placement, you have to maintain 7.5+ CGPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the MBM University has its own hostel. There are separate hostel for girls and the boys. The hostel facilities and the rooms are average. The mess is also there and they provide three time meal system. The mess food is average. Hostel and mess fee is around Rs. 47,000/- per year. The timing of the hostel for boys in 1st year IS 10 PM and for the girls the timing is 7 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus area is spread over 98 acres. The infrastructure of the University is average. The campus has a lecture theatre hall, library, seminar hall, auditorium, etc. The labs are available for different subjects.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the campus life is average. The crowed of the University is way good as compared to other Universities. There are many clubs such as Sargam, Zenith, Alankaar, Pratibimb, etc. The clubs are run and manage by the students. I'm in Sargam club. The fests are not organised from last two years but they conduct many extracurricular activities on regular basis.
