My Journey in MBM University Jodhpur

Overall Rating
This is a Government University and my experience in terms of academics is good. The attendance is mandatory in this University. The University got renovated this year and the location of this University is also good. Everything is available near the University such as café, malls, etc. which are required by the students.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science I have joined this course because AI is the future and I have interest in computers. In this course, you will learn coding languages, solve concepts, and many more. For admission in MBM University , the studnets need to pass class 12th boards. For better branches they need to qualify JEE entrance exam. After that, they can apply for Rajashtan Engineering Admission process (REAP). The exams are held three times such as 2 mid-term exams and end semester exams. The academics prepare you for the corporate world.
The tuition fee is around Rs. 43,000/- for first semester. The University provides scholarships to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this University are average. They don’t spoon feed you and they check the answer sheet very strictly. The faculty has completed their education from MBM University and IIT Institutes. The students can only ask their doubts during the class. The teacher to student ratio is 1:90. The teachers solve all the doubts of the students if they have any.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the University has placement cell. Around 40% of students get placed from this University. The highest CTC is 12 LPA, average package is 6 LPA, and the median package is 2.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University provides hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostel for girls and the boys. The boys’ hostel is average but the girls’ hostel is in good condition. The capacity of the hostel is around 500 students. The electricity and water supply is available 24/7. The mess food is awesome. The hostel fee is between Rs. 11,000/- to Rs. 13,000/- per semester excluding the mess charges. The timing of the hostel is 5 AM to 10 PM. You will have a great hostel life.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University is located in Ratanada Jodhpur. The MBM University is established in 1951 and the size of the campus is around 97 acres. The classrooms are small. The campus has library with well equipped AC facilities and it has all the kind of books. The University has seminar hall, labs, auditorium, etc. The campus also has sports facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is quite impressive and you can make many friends here. The campus crowd is huge. There are various clubs such as Debate club, Sports club, etc. I was a part of the Debate club. I wish this University organise more events and extracurricular activities. The sports club represents the University in premiere Institutes like IITs. The overall, campus life is good.

    The fee of MBM University Jodhpur is very less as compared to other Engineering Colleges and the curriculum is basically the same. The ROI is also decent. The location of the campus is good and well connected. The overall experience is average.
