Humble and Helpful Faculties at NIET Greater Noida

Overall Rating
NIET Greater Noida is a nice Institute to kickstart your higher studies. All facilities are there in the Institute. Hostel facility is also available. Food in mess is also great. I have gained academic knowledge and also enhanced my programming skills. It is an autonomous Institute and you do not have to go another center to give end semester exam. The academic curriculum is comprehensive and relevant.
 

Academics Rating
I choose to pursue B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. There were no specific entry requirements for getting enrollment for the program. The admission process was quite simple. They asked for documents like Adhaar card,10th Marksheet,12th Marksheet, Migration certificate and Character certificate from School. Then they gave a form to fill and after that enrollment in respective courses was done. My course had a diversity of subjects.
The overall fee was around Rs. 6,00,000/-. We have to pay half fees (of a year) after filling the form during admission. The fee structure was simple. For first year, the fee was slightly higher due to admission & registration fees, and after that the fees was slightly lower for the next 3 years. Scholarship is available. You can pay through cash, card or any other method. Educational loans are also approved.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty's attitude varies from branch to branch. Some branch had helpful and humble faculties while some had strict teachers. My department has decent teachers and they have great knowledge of their disciplines. They are available 24X7 through phone. They provide right mentorship to students and help them regarding their problems.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell was helpful. Mentors at the placement cell were humble and always tried to help students. The placements were good. Most of the students from every class get placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are built-in hostels for both boys and girls. There are different types of room such as one seater, two-seater, and three-seater. The warden is strict. Students are not allowed to go out after the curfew. Hostels have different room sizes and there is a common washroom and bathroom.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The size of NIET Greater Noida is not too large. It has 7-8 different buildings which includes administration block, hostels and educational buildings. There is a library with a variety of books related to different subjects. There are a large number of labs. Canteen is also there. Auditorium has great air conditioning. There is a ground for playing games. The seating capacity of classroom and lab is to accommodate about 150-200 students at a time. There are smaller classes also. The Institute has transportation facilities.
 

Campus Rating
I had a nice campus life. There were students from Delhi, UP and all other parts of the country. The crowd is decent and students focus on their studies. There are different societies related to dance, music, coding, photography, sports, etc. The Institute also asks guest lecturers to come and guide students for their future. There are 2 fests, one happens on Diwali known as ‘JUGMUG’ and other is cultural club which also happens annually.

    Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology is overall good. It is little bit stricter than other institutes nearby but the academics of the institute are quite good and there is no issue about the academics. Institute environment is also good.     Overall Rating
    NIET provides the best learning environment compared to other NCR colleges. Since it is an autonomous institution, hence there are many advantages that students get from it like, syllabus based on industry required skills. Overall Placements are good! This institution is different from many others like it is autonomous. Syllabus is made by the college management which is based on the Industrial skill requirements.     NIET college is good for skills development, as there are various interesting extracurricular activities which develop skills in a student. They mainly focus on Speaking skills as it is very important to improve our vocabulary skills as MNC hires those employees who have proper knowledge of communication and knowledge of how to interact with people.     Strong placement record, experienced faculties, Clean Environment, transportation services are also very good. One of the best Institutes that I have seen in Greater Noida.
