My Opinion on Galgotias University Greater Noida: Best Infrastructure & Education

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Galgotias University is great till now. Factors that made me choose this University is its location and this University is not far from my hometown. It offers several courses such as M.Tech, MCA, MBA, B.Pharma, and etc. The students’ can pursue any course according to their interest. The ragging system is strictly prohibited in this University. Also, the infrastructure of this University is also great.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Computer Science because I was passionate about computers. For admission in this University, the students need to score at least 60% in PCM. The admission process is very simple, you just have to apply online first and then they will send you a mail for the documents which are required for the admission process. Two types of exams are held in one year such as mid-term exams and end- term exams. Academics are according to the industry standards.
I took admission in 2022. At that time, my course fee was Rs. 1,59,000/- per year. This fee structure includes all the other charges. 10% Scholarship is provided to the students who scores 9+ CGPA. The student who belongs to different states can also avail their respective State Government scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of Galgotias University believe in smart and active learning. Most of the faculty members have done Ph.D from top Institutes like IITs. The teachers of my departments are very supportive and they solve all the queries of the students. The teacher to student ratio is average it’s 1:50. My experience and bonding with the faculty members has been very nice.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our University has its own placement cell. They help students to acquire jobs in the industry. Many renowned companies visit our campus such as Microsoft, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, TCS, and many others. These companies offer various packages to the students ranging from 10 LPA to 25 LPA on an average.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Galgotias University offers hostel facilities to both girls and the boys. The double and triple sharing rooms are available in the hostels. The mess maintains proper hygiene and provides good quality food. They provide four time meal system such as breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. For boys the hostel fee ranges from Rs. 90,000/- to Rs. 1,60,000/- per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus size is approx 52 acres and it is located near Buddha International Circuit, Greater Noida. The University has 4 large academic blocks with state of the art infrastructure. The campus has a big canteen, sports facilities, transport facilities, library, etc. My favorite place in this University is library with all kinds of books. The infrastructure and labs make this University different from others. The security guards are also present in the campus to ensure the safety of the students.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, my campus life till now has been amazing. The crowd of this University is average. They conduct various fest and events for the students. The students can participate in several clubs such as Quizzards, Tech Council, etc. It organises various hackathons and extracurricular activities. The fest called Unifest is famous among all the Universities. They conduct this fest every year.
