Inclusive Environment at NLU Hyderabad

Overall Rating
I am from Nepal and I am lucky that I am studying at one of the best law college of India. There are only 15 seats reserved for foreign quota students and I am glad to be one of those students. The University is outstanding and very inclusive for everyone. My life had been great being a part of this University and one of the reasons behind it is the crowd here.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing law from Nalsar University of Law, and the academic life as a law student here is quite challenging. The past three years of my University life have majorly been occupied by the classes, assignments, research work, and so on. I have to found myself wanting with either of three. Every student of the University works very hard to deal with the academic life challenges of the University.
Since I am from SAARC country, the fee that I am supposed to pay is around US $ 6,000 per year (i.e. Rs. 5,19,000/-)
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here outweigh more than any other factor which contributes to the goodness of the University. Various moot events and court visits are organised by them for the law students. My relationship with all the teachers here is on good terms, and one factor that adds to it is, me being a Foreign National. They teach us with great precision and ensure to convey everything in an easy manner.
 

Placement Rating
At our University, maximum students are able to crack jobs at litigation firms or the corporate houses that comes here for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are hostels provided by the University. The fee structure of the hostel is around Rs. 95,000/- per year. The life in the campus hostel is very liberal. According to me, the girl’s hostel is one of the most liberal hostels. We have to mark our attendance around 10 PM in the hostel, but post that we can leave our rooms and roam around in the campus for as long as we want. Also, if we want to go out all we need is an out pass and we were warned that our parents will be contacted if required but it has never happened so far. The food provided at the hostels is also quite good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is one of the most outstanding features of the University. It is surrounded by lush greenery and looks even more beautiful in monsoon. Born and brought up in Nepal, I have played football as my first sport and thankfully we have a great football ground and a great football team. The tennis courts are well maintained too. The library and research centre needs no mention as they happen to be better than the best in my opinion. My favorite thing in the campus is watch the water droplets falling from trees during monsoons.
 

Campus Rating
Life at Nalsar University of Law had been great so far due to the inclusive atmosphere and the liberty provided to the hostellers here. I like the University a lot due to the staff members here. Fests and music parties, all happens at the campus from time to time.

  • Academics at NLU Hyderabad: Exams, Assignments, and More

    Nalsar has made a name for itself and that is why it is top ranked NLU. Only the top CLAT rankers get admission here and once you are in Nalsar you don't have to look back as everything will fall in place. We have to work hard and do internships but students of this university get internships in TIER-1 firms as the university itself assists us for that.     NALSAR Hyderabad has excellent infrastructure and it offers a well-rounded experience to its students. It has a sprawling campus that is spread in nearly 50 acres.     I am currently studying in 3rd year of BA LLB (Hons) at Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad. My experience with the university has been great until now; I have explored many opportunities, which might not come if I would have been in other universities. Be it moot, ADR competitions or debate competitions, everything is great and everyone is supportive of you if you want to do some competition.
