If you want to know about KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad in one line, then I would describe it as a perfect choice. Institute has one Technical business incubator in which people who are interested in Entrepreneurship can incubate their startup and receive funding from government. My experience in the Institute has been absolutely fantastic and I'm really satisfied with the Institute, I chose this Institute because of its excellent placement record, student crowd, and great environment. I would highly recommend this Institute. Faculty is greatly supportive in everything that you might need help with and the absolute differentiator is it's placement record.

I chose B.Tech in Computer Science as my course. The world is all about digital things nowadays and in order to keep myself updated in the booming field of AI & ML and all coding relevant things, I chose KIET to begin my journey with. I came here through AKTU counselling, I am from general category and I scored 86 percentile in JEE Main. One can join KIET through AKTU counselling and direct admission as well, 85% of the student intake is through AKTU counselling and rest 15% intake is through management quota, you must score above 80 percentile in jee mains if you're from general category and if you're trying to come through management quota then you should score above 95% in your 12th class to get admission in any computer related branch. The Institute holds exams every month and yes, this could be one thing that you might not like, but actually it's very helpful in our semester exams as we get prepared for final exams through these internal exams which are held every month. Academics are also helpful for our daily life learning, for example, there are subjects like UHV, Technical communication, etc. which helps an individual to develop communication skills and master it for professional spaces and daily life tasks.

The fees to get admission in my course is approximately Rs. 1,36,999/- per year. Apart from it, there's a exam registration fee which we pay every year, i.e. Rs. 7,500/-. Moreover, if a student scores well in JEE Main, then she / he could get a fee waiver seat which would result in zero tuition fee. Only hostel fees would be paid along with a small registration fees. If coming through counselling, you could also get a scholarship of around Rs. 64,000/- if you're from General or OBC category, and a scholarship of around Rs. 1,00,000/- is given if you're from SC / ST Category.

Faculty members in this Institute are really very supportive. I could never think of such supportive staff, they are ready to help you any time, and they're all qualified. They all undergo faculty training program every month in which they are taught about how to treat and teach students well. Most of the teachers here have a background of Ph.D and a few teachers are also from NITs. They teach you on smart board through PPTs, videos, etc. In every department there are enough faculty members to teach students properly, and they all are well qualified to clear your doubts. My personal experience with the faculty members was quite great; they make us feel very comfortable in communicating with them.

Yes, there's a placement cell in our Institute that works very hard to get its students placed in nice companies. Various activities are organised from 3rd year to make students’ placement ready by the time companies arrive for placements. Some companies that visit our campus for placements are Razorpay, Juspay, Flipkart, etc. This year particularly many students have got package above 15 LPA. This year, there were around 6 Student have secured a package of 27 LPA.

There are total 9 hostels, 6 for boys and 3 for girls. Boys and girls live in separate hostels. The hostel mess is air conditioned and the mess food is decent, offering different meals at different times to the students. Girls are not allowed to move outside their hostels after 8 PM. Hostel fees is approximately Rs. 1,09,000/- per year.

Campus has various academic blocks such as B, C, D, E, G & H and campus area has been well utilised. In each block, there are various classes with air conditioners installed. There are air-conditioned classrooms and each can accommodate around 70 students. Apart from that, there is a central library which is open till 2 AM. Each block has various labs for student’s development; there are mainly two Auditoriums in the campus, one of which can accommodate around 600 students easily. Medical and sports facilities are also available in the campus. My favorite thing to do is to roam around in campus in evenings and feel its lush green beauty.

My campus life till now at KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad had been superb; the crowd here is really great and works hard to make their career. Institute has various societies / clubs like Entrepreneurship Cell, Drama Clubs, Technical Clubs, Sports clubs, Literary Clubs, etc. I'm part of the Entrepreneurship Cell and one Literary Club. Honestly, these clubs helps in skill development of an individual. Moreover, the Institute organizes its annual fest every year known as 'EPOQUE@Prastuti’. My overall experience in the Institute has been great and I really enjoy being in this Institute.
