My Journey in ABV-IIITM Gwalior: All the Aspects

Overall Rating
I think you should definitely consider taking admission in this Institute. It’s a perfect package of good placement with good campus life. As most the IITs aren't active in other things except coding. This Institute is growing with rapid speed. Our average package is leaving behind many top Institutes. So, I would recommend others to take admission in this Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Information Technology with MBA which is a 5 years course. For admission, the students need to qualify JEE Main with good scores. Admission process takes only one day to complete, if you have all the required documents. The quizzes also take place between the exams. The academics of ABV-IIITM Gwalior are average.
The tuition fee of my course is Rs. 1,01,000/- per year. The students who belong to SC/ST category get discounts. The scholarship is also provided by the Institute.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of every department are different. Most of the faculty have done Ph.D. The professors are very dedicated in their work. The faculty teaches the students very well. They provide real world insights and make us industry ready. Some of the faculty members are approachable and at the end you will thank all the faculty members.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, ABV-IIITM Gwalior has placement cell. I'm in second year so I don't have much knowledge about this section but the placements of this Institute are good. The average package offered was 28.5 LPA which is great and the highest package is only 54 LPA. Many companies visit our campus such as Microsoft, Google, Nvidia, Swiggy, Uber, Meesho, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute provides hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostel for girls and the boys. The hostels are average and haven’t got renovated yet. In first year, the students get good hostels and they have to live in triple sharing rooms. From second year, you will get room depending on your CGPA and lower CGPA students will get double sharing room. The students need to enter the hostel before 10 PM. The hostel and the mess fee is Rs. 20,000/-. Personally; I have enjoyed my first year in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 160 acres. The infrastructure is average. Academic blocks are good and well equipped with AC facilities. The Institute has largest library in whole Asia. The campus has auditorium which has recliner seats, two canteens, Badminton court, Football court, etc. The campus also has swimming pool and labs which are also good.
 

Campus Rating
Till now my campus life at ABV-IIITM Gwalior is average. The crowd is less in this Institute. There are several clubs but it totally depends on you how active you and your batch mates are because the clubs are mostly run by first and second year students. The Institute conducts various fests such as Infotsav, Aurora, and Hexagon. Many students participate in those fests.

    IIITM is one of the oldest IIITs in India. Overall, my learning experience at the college was pretty good. The college infrastructure is amazing, and the activities organised are impressive.     Overall Rating
    Basically our college ranked nearly 80 in NRIF and currently it is 74. College has enough facilities such as ac labs and many more. There is some extra work which is under process. College consists of mostly greenery which is most peaceful. Overall infrastructure is also good. Class rooms are literally very nice. Mostly there will be no ragging in college.     As I have explored different schools and colleges since childhood I never experienced B.Tech life of college. Here in ABV IIITM campus everyone is given maximum freedom which is free from any restrictions that is very Important to students of today world. Of course we need to adjust regarding faculty but we can manage it through online videos etc. but overall the college is extraordinary with a loving nature.
