Great Faculty at KNC New Delhi

Overall Rating
Overall, my experience at Kamala Nehru College New Delhi has been good. Initially, I was disappointed when I couldn’t get a north campus College but with time, I realised studying here is good. All the teachers are cooperative and I found very good friends. My other classmates are helpful too. And currently, there have been improvements going on in the College. New building is being constructed and existing infrastructure too is improving.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.Com (Hons.) from the College. They don’t take students for granted, they actually teach with full heart. Principal has also changed and she is ensuring that discipline is maintained in the College and no classes should be missed. I got admission through CUET. Average score required was in 720s out of 800 when I gave the exam and no interview round was conducted.
Fee structure of my College is very affordable. In first year, it was approximately Rs. 16,000/- which increased by around Rs. 1000/- in the second year. Discounts or fee concessions are also provided to some special category students. Apart from this, examination fee is to be paid as per the subjects chosen.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of the College are very nice and experienced in their fields. They are very sweet and helpful. They have prior work experience and have comprehensive knowledge of their subjects as well. They are both strict as well as cool depending upon the situation. They use various medium for teaching like blackboards, PPTs, and more. They try to make the class interactive too by asking questions in between. The teacher-student ratio is appropriate too.
 

Infrastructure Rating
A lot of infrastructural development is taking place in our College. Washrooms are renovating, new building is being constructed, and a new seminar hall is made recently which has a seating capacity of about 200 students. Classrooms’ furniture is changing too and better quality furniture is being placed. Blackboards are getting exchanged with new whiteboards with projector facilities. We have a spacious 2 floored library. Also, we have a big canteen and an open amphitheater for sitting.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life overall is good and I like the crowd of the KNC New Delhi. A lot of activities happen on daily basis whether it is open mics or some workshop / seminar on educational matters or awareness. The annual fest ULLAS was the best- sufi night on the first day and an artist on the second along with a comedian. Outsiders were allowed too due to which it got crowded in the fest. There are a lot of societies and clubs in the College which are very active.
