Excellent Academics at PVPSIT Vijayawada

Overall Rating
I was looking forward to a decent Institute with great academic environment, affordable tuition fee, and good opportunities. At PVPSIT Vijayawada, I found them all. The campus life is nice, there are great and supportive faculty members, residential facilities, great academic infrastructure, and so much more. There is a healthy balance between academic and non-academic activities here.
 

Academics Rating
I choose B.Tech because I like coding and was quite interested in that field. I took admission here through EAPCET. The admission process was easy and I was able to make it at this Institute in the second round of counselling. We usually have two semesters of six months each with regular internals and the syllabus is up-to-date, including practical work. It helps develop skills required to function-well in the industry.
The annual fee of my course is around Rs. 77,000/-. For those who want to avail the hostel facilities have to pay additional charges too. There are additional charges charged from the students for placement trainings, which is highly beneficial as per the teachers. There are scholarships available for merit-scorers in class 12th and also, there are scholarships for students who come from less privileged backgrounds.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are quite qualified and teach using a mix of blackboards and PPTs. There are also many lab sessions which help the students gain hand-on experience. Most of the faculty members are very friendly and supportive. They are willing to take doubts even outside the classrooms. They also provide proper guidance when we are preparing for our final year projects by giving us constructive feedbacks and suggesting us with the technical improvements needed.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell is active and supportive and is known for bringing in renowned companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture along with a few product based companies. The highest package that has been in there is around 16 LPA. While the average package can range from 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The internship opportunities are decent with the students getting chances in both core and IT companies. There is some training and aptitude sessions conducted that help students get the practical exposure needed.
 

Hostel Rating
PVPSIT Vijayawada offers separate and secure hostels for boys and girls. These are equipped with basic facilities like Wi-Fi, study rooms and common areas. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The mess is hygienic and the food quality is somewhat average. There are fixed timings for visitors to visit the hostel. Also, students have to follow the entry and exit rules.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is clean and well organised. It has a modern infrastructure with facilities like smart classrooms, computer labs, etc. which support he academic pursuits of students. The library is very spacious with ample reference material. We also have a large auditorium, seminar halls and sports courts for outdoor games. The security is top-notch. The students are also offered medical assistance when needed. Overall, the infrastructure is well-built and is student-friendly.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is quite vibrant and offers a great campus life to the students studying here. There are various events with cultural activities and hackathons which create a joyful environment at the Institute. There are active clubs for varied interests like coding, arts & crafts, literature, sports, etc. giving students the chance to explore their interests. There is always something happening like regular competitions, workshops and the celebrations which make the campus life quite engaging. Moreover, the Institute encourages the students to take new paths and also conducts various entrepreneurial activities.
