UTU Dehradun Offers Holistic Development

Overall Rating
Overall, my experience in UTU Dehradun is very nice. I really like this University because of its infrastructure and the facilities provided to us here. Other than this, the academic curriculum is also well-maintained and as per the need of the time. It ensures to make you industry-ready.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirements are you should have your Class 10th & 12th mark sheets. In addition to this, you should have documents including your state domicile, Aadhaar card and other basic documents. The admission process is quite easy; you need to visit the University and get all necessary documents verified, after which you can submit the fee for first semester.
The fee for my course at this University is affordable. It’s around Rs. 56,000/- per year for tuition fee. Students can also apply for scholarships.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the University is very knowledgeable and helpful. They will help you regarding any issue, whether it is personal or academic. The marking pattern they follow in the internal exams is generally lenient for the students who attend classes on a regular basis and have a good relationship with them. The teacher to student ratio is approximately 30:1.
 

Placement Rating
One of the major factors for choosing UTU Dehradun was its placement. Students from this University generally get placed at good packages.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the University is also very nice. There are many facilities available like sports, medical, and transport facilities. My favorite thing about the University is its lounge area. There is also a gymnasium which can be accessed by students and it is free of cost.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus area is huge and the campus life is very exciting. The crowd studying at the University is limited. The University also conducts many fests and events throughout the year which are very fun. For the fests, very nominal fee is charged. The University also has many social club groups in which you can join according to your preferences. Engagement activities such as hackathons and space & science quizzes are also conducted which also have cash prize. Apart from that, there are many sports competitions also held on-campus.

    My experience in this University is great in both academics and extracurricular activities since it is the main focus of UTU Dehradun. Other than this, the University also supports you if you want to start any startup of your own by providing some funding for the same.     Uttarakhand Technical University is the main university in Uttarakhand from which the 26 other university are affiliated. The campus is really beautiful and surrounded with greenery. We have all facilities like canteen, student lounge, Wi-Fi, etc. I will definitely refer this university to all the freshers out there who are thinking of taking admission in B.Tech Computer Science or Cyber Security....
