My Opinion on SBSC New Delhi

Overall Rating
This College is good for the students who want to take admission in my course. It is one of the best Colleges of Delhi University. The crowd and teachers here are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend others to take admission in this College. The College was established in 1967.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Com in SBSC New Delhi. For admission, you have to score around 700 marks in CUET exam. Admission is done through DU CSAS portal. The exams are conducted according to the University. The College also offers value added courses and skill enhancement course which is really very helpful in real life. The academics here are good.
The fee of my course is around Rs. 20,000/-. It includes all the charges such as tuition fee, practical fee, etc. The College does not provide special discount to the students of any category. Financial aid is provided to the students who actually need it after checking all their details.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my department are well experienced and they teach very well. The teaching methods they use are whiteboard, PPTs, etc. The group discussion is also conducted sometimes. They are very helpful and they solve all our problems. My experience with the faculty members is great. They are approachable and provide solution of the problems that the students are facing.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. I don’t have much information about it because I am in my first year but the cell is active and help students to get placed in big companies. According to the last year data more than 400 students got placed. 4 big companies visit our campus for recruitment.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 8.2 acres of land. The infrastructure of SBSC New Delhi is good and it is developing day by day. The classrooms have various facilities such as projectors, Wi-Fi, etc. It has the seating capacity of 60 to 70 students. The campus has library, seminar halls, open and closed auditorium, conference hall, etc. The canteen is also there which is good and hygienic and sports ground is under renovation. The College also offers medical facilities to the students. ,My favorite thing is the infrastructure and the seminar hall.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is going good. The crowd is very friendly and cooperative. There are various societies which is helpful. I am in Yoga society which helps students and provide a balanced lifestyle. It also helps enhance skills which is useful in the professional world. The College conducts cultural fests for the students. My campus life here is full of fun.

    My experience in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is very good. In my 1st semester I felt Lonely but as of now I am in 2nd semester. I have many friends and it's very enjoyable with friends and spending time with them. Faculty members here are very good. I am from commerce background and all the faculty members who I know are are very good in their field. They also use good technique for teaching.     So, I am a student of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College New Delhi, and my experience so far has been really good. At the time of admission, I applied to multiple Colleges. I even got admission to some Private Colleges and studied there for around 1.5 to 2 months. But their fees were almost Rs. 2,50,000 to Rs. 3,00,000/- just for a bachelor’s degree.
