SRM University Kattankulathur: Good Education & Educators

Overall Rating
The SRM University Kattankulathur gives us a better way to grow and develop our skills. The University has taught me several good things and I chose this University because of its placements. The faculty members are highly qualified. I would recommend others to take admission in this University. The University was established in 1985.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Computer Science. For admission, the students need to qualify SRMJEEE and score at least 2000 rank to get enrolled in my course. The admission process is simple; you have to submit the documents such as your class 10th Mark sheet, ABC ID, etc. The academics make the students industry ready.
The fee of my course is Rs. 4,50,000/- per year. The students also have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 10,000/-. The University provide discount to the students who scores good marks in the exams.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at SRM University Kattankulathur are so good and they have good educational background. The teachers use PPT method to teach the students. They also conduct group discussion. Also, help us in preparing for the exams. There are different teacher for every subject. Overall, the teachers are good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over more than 250 acres of land. The campus has several building for different departments. The University has 2 tech parks which are huge. The classrooms have the seating capacity of around 60 students at a time. The campus has a huge library, labs, seminar halls, auditorium, conference room, etc. We have a canteen at every floor. The University has 3 grounds, 3 swimming pools, etc. Medical and transportation facilities are also available in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life till now is so good. The crowd belongs from different cities. Various numbers of clubs are present and I am also part of 2 of the clubs. I am creative member of Quantum Computing club. The University organise various events every month. Name of the 2 biggest events are Arush & Milon Various extracurricular activities are organised by the University such as modeling, dance, etc.

    SRM Institute of Science and Technology is the right choice for pursuing B.Tech degree as it offers multiple specialisations, modern infrastructure, and international exposure. Top companies like Google and Microsoft visit the University for organising recruitment drives.     The university is nice. The infrastructure and the surrounding are nice. The university has fest and clubs to keep students engaged. Beside this the university has regular hackathons and certificate competition which helps individual to perform and showcase their potential in the field.     SRM University was recommended to me by some relative and I honestly do not regret taking admission in it because of the lot of facilities is available here, which are not available anywhere else.
